ladies who bottle feed have any of your little ones got constipated? we recently changed his milk and the health visitor said to give him 1oz of cooled boiled water between feeds, he doesn't seem to want it just gargles it in his mouth, I've tried doing bicycles legs and rubbing his belly..
anything else I can try?

@abbyrose1997x I downloaded a white noise app so I think that's helped lol 😁 I've just bought Ewan the sheep I've heard they're good 👌 x
@abbyrose1997x I feel ya!! it's annoying 🤣🤣 past 3 nights though Kai has had a last bottle at around 11pm and been sleeping 6 to 8 hours before needing a feed 😄 so I'm hoping it's the same again tonight lol x
@natalie.louise89 haha I know I can never get Olivia to have a whole 4oz she has bits and keeps coming back to it. Maybe that's why there always hungry bevause there not having there whole bottles. Naughty babies😂 I hate it at night though bevause she's awake every bloody 2 hours😂🙈x
@abbyrose1997x yes haha it'll be like sometimes he won't drink it all then all of a sudden he wants feeding again 😂 like make your mind up child 🤣 x
Haha it's annoying isn't it it's like ' omg I just fed you'😂😂 I know I think they all say diffrent x
@abbyrose1997x yeah that's like him it was literally every 2 hours 😂, I felt bad when she said it to me but I'm obviously not going to not give him a feed , health visitors confuse me sometimes lol x
Yeah i feel like that i give her a bottle and half hour later she's hungry again. It's just growth spurts and it's good his putting weight on so don't worry your doing it right x
@abbyrose1997x yeah I'm going to but seemed like he was never getting full, in the space of 2 weeks he put on 1lb 15oz the health visitor said it was alot but if he's hungry to feed him 🤔 I don't know whether I'm doing right or wrong 🙁
Yeah i would to, my daughter is 7 weeks and I feel like shes constantly hungry but its just growth spurts so try keep him on the normal milk he was on forabit
@abbyrose1997x I'm gong to switch back I'm off to get some, I don't like seeing him struggle it's horrible, i don't know why they sell it when it does this to babies 😕, I need a heavier milk just unsure what to look for
Why don't you just switch back to the normal one? A constipated baby is horrible my daughter couldn't go for 4 days before I felt so sorry for her
@abbyrose1997x yeah it was the day after I got it the health visitor was out and she said they don't recommend it but if I do continue to use it to give him cool boiled water between feeds and to give 1oz less of the hungrier formula than the original from birth formula
My health visitor and midwife told me not to use the hungry baby bevause there's no extra nutrients nothing like that it's just thicker and that's why it's making him constipated
@bonnieb yeah it's the powdered formula , I'll see how he gets on over the next few days xx
@bonnieb he drinks cow and gate but we switched him to the hungry baby cow and gate it was only after we changed it I found out it can make them constipated I feel awful lol, I had to help him last night he was going red in the face bless him, I don't know whether to switch back to the other formula 😕 xx
If it gets too long or he seems in a lot of pain you can always rub a bit of Vaseline on his bum x
What do y’all feed your 1 year old? My sons pediatrician is concerned with his weight and said to completely cut noodles and potatoes out of his diet.
Managed get Arlo an appointment for his tongue tie cut in 3 weeks, hopefully this helps his feeding 🤞🏻
How many ounces should a almost 1 month old be eating and how far apart should his feeding be?
My son is almost 2 months old I feed him baby food in his bottle mixed with his formula has anyone else's done this as early as me he does great he will even eat it buy a baby spoon and do fine but if I don't feed him the baby food in with his bottle he doesn't get full but if I feed him more formula he projectiles it all out
