Ugh I think my newborn may be constipated.. His last 3 diapers have consisted of something like this instead of the regular wet poop he does.. Looks like constipation, right?
Do you take your prenatals?? I mean like everyday? I'll be the first to admit.. I take them like once every blue moon. I'm trying to get better at it though. I forget easily, plus I don't like being constipated!

He only needs 1 diaper a day for the first 6 days. You started supplementing before your milk came in. After day 6, he needs 6 wet diapers in a 24 hour period, really wet and poop count for two. You're making enough momma. I would stop supplementing and put him back to breast. The firat 6 weeks are hard and the first 2ish months are back t back growth spurts. Cluster feeding is normal for the first 2 months.

5 days old... About 5-6 but Yesturday he only had about 3 bowel movements and two of them were like the picture posted.. Very little poop when usually he poops a lot and it's wet and slimy @meagansimone

I started formula like three days ago. I wanted to exclusively breastfeed, that was my goal since I got pregnant but I'm just not producing anything :( I've been trying to pump, he latches on but I don't think anything comes out so I have to fill him up with formula. It's been stressing me out. I don't want to formula feed him :/ @meagansimone

How long ago did you start with formula? The first few days can cause constipation. Do you want to get back to just breast feeding?

Both. But more formula feeding. Similac:/ I might have to switch over to enfamil @meagansimone
