Since it is only the beta version it's just a test phase. The real version has not been released yet.

Honestly. The apk is looking pretty darn good but apparently niantic is banning people who use those to get it.

They delayed the rest of the release because of all the server errors. There has been no release date for Canada or the rest of Europe yet. I know a workaround if you have an iPhone. You run the risk of losing your progress when it's officially released, though. Canada may end up having to wait until the Pokeball tracker thing is released.
