worried ftm mama!
My month and a half old daughter isn't eating. She's barely eaten 1/4 of an a ounce in over 12 hours. She does have a mild cold. She kept waking up regularly last night and would just use the bottle as a pacifier. How much should I worry about this? How long should I let it go before I should take her to emerge? I feel awful. I keep offering the bottle and she keeps sucking on it just doesn't eat.

She needs to be getting at least half an ounce an hour to keep dehydration at bay. You could even do medicine droppers of formula and just squeeze tiny bits in her check. It's a lot of work but worth keeping her out of the hospital. I would wake her soon. You need at least 1 wet diaper every 5 hours I believe

She's awake. She just won't eat. I feel terrible. I did use a medicine dropper and she doesn't swallow. Just pushes it out with her tongue.
