When my LO sleeps that long he is ravenous when he wakes up and eats 8 oz so don't be afraid to give more in the morning

It's fine as long as a baby is gaining :)

I had the same lecture today from a family member. But that said person is overly obese so I didn't take it seriously. If they sleep, let them sleep

Oh my goodness. Count it as a blessing! My son won't sleep longer than 2.5 hours right now lol. I get your concern, but I think they would wake up if they're hungry? Maybe ask your pediatrician to make sure:)

My baby was doing 10hrs at 2 months old. As long as they get their daily intake while they're awake it's not a problem at all. It's actually really good for their growth and development and it's considered "ideal" for babies to be sleeping 12hrs by 12 weeks old. Although not many do....

As long as they sleep through on their own. They will let you know if they're hungry. My baby has never slept through without eating, but I have a friend with a two month old who does.

Thanks ladies ! My family made me feel awful about it.. Saying that they shouldn't be going that long without eating at this age (4 months).. I tried to explain that he will make up for it during the day.. He isn't going to starve himself

That's about how long my lo sleeps without eating. He just eats larger bottles during the days to pack his 30oz in in just 12-14 hours of being awake.
