flying in mexico with an infant
Who's traveled to mexico with an infant? I'm traveling with my baby when she's about 4 months old I will be holding her on my lap the whole flight. Can I take her car seat and stroller on board with me? I paid for an infant ticket.
Trigger. I need prayers My cousin just got a call that my uncle has been kidnapped and they are asking for 250,000. My uncles cousin was there and saw them take him. This happened in Mexico. Authorities are useless.
? I was on my way home from picking my DD up. Stopped at a red light and the lady next to me had her newborn in the front seat (rear faced). It was a van, no kids in the back seats. I pray they have safe travels and someone tells her how it is unsafe. I couldn't get her attention or I would have. It gave me anxiety.
Took my baby to NYC last week. Her first time on an airplane. It was smooth sailing. And my first time traveling alone with an infant.
ladies, help! I was almost 100% sure I found a travel system, but put it on layaway due to the following... I'm due dec. 8th and most likely won't be using a stroller until February/March when it's a bit warmer. I figure I can just baby wear, or carry her in her infant seat, since we won't be outside much. In the interest of saving money, should I just buy a car seat now and worry about a stroller later? Or does it make sense to get the whole travel system and be done with it?
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

Yes you can take both but you can't check in the stroller, you'll just hand it over at the airplane door. At least that's what happens in American Airlines... I will be traveling to Mexico with mine too but he'll be 7 months

Thank you for the help! So does that mean I can only check in the car seat? Im a FTM so I'm so new to this. I'm traveling to see my father for him to meet his first grand baby.

You take the car seat with you and put it on a seat. Sometimes they request you put your kid in the car seat for take off and landing! And aww that's so nice! My family came from Mexico when he was born but now we're going for the holidays so that everyone else meets him

They make gate check bags which help keep your stroller and seat clean.

Also, look up flying with an infant for the airline you chose. Most have diff requirements especially for international flights.
