SAHM tax question
This is the first year I'll be filing taxes as a sahm. Obviously I'm not getting a w2 so what do i do? Is my SO supposed to claim me as a dependent? He's claiming dd since he's the one working.
Are you guys married? If you are, then you can file married-joint. If not, he will file Head of Household, and claim you and your child as a dependent.
I need some help/knowledge on child support and taxes?! Her father pays child support monthly.. My daughter lives with me, I haven't filed my taxes yet. I'm planning on doing it this weekend. My ex just texted me and said - "Hey my dad is doing my taxes for me and he needs ur social security number n your full name, cause I need to claim back some of the taxes from the child support. And he said u can still claim Mia it won't affect it he already asked the tax people. So if u can send it over that be great thanks." However, when I googled it...I found out child support is outside of taxes. I FEEL like he's lying to me to try to get my social so he can claim our daughter. Anyone know?!
Quick US tax question! If your husband works one job, you're a SAHM, and you have one child... How many allowances does he claim on his W-4?
Random but serious question for SAHMs who don't work. If yall want to buy something do yall just buy it or do yall ask your hubby/SO first?
I need some advice. My boyfriends wants to claim me on income tax but when we fight he tells me to leave and all this shit so I don't want him to claim me I want to do my own but he keeps nagging me about it. What do y'all think ? I don't want him to claim me then turn around and try to fuck me.
SAHMs Do you shower and dress before SO gets home? Put on a little makeup? Do you think it matters?
