Working Moms

Do you have to wake your babies up in the morning to take them to the sitter? For now my mother in law comes to the house but eventually I will have to bring him there and he is usually asleep when I leave at 6:30! What are some of your routines? I also EBF and he won't take a bottle for me and he never nurses for less than 20min.

Depending on my schedule as I work in retail and it's never the same! Usually she wakes me up before my alarm and I feed her and change her diaper. than start getting ready while she watches cartoons after I get ready I change her clothes and diaper once more I usually get to my mil an hour before I have to leave for work so I can feed her once more my day starts very early some mornings like 4:30am

My guy gets up anywhere between 530-630 too. 530 if on his own and 630 if he hears our alarm clock! I specifically get up and go turn his lamp on so he can adjust to the light an wake up more while I talk to him, then we change his diaper and clothes (unless its cold out still). He's 18 weeks and we just started a little cereal (he's eating 8oz every 2-2.5 hours!). So we do his bottle first and then finish up seeing if he wants any cereal ..take about 1/2 hour. After (this is the really bad part lol) my husband leaves and I have to get ready, he gets to watch bubble guppies and falls back asleep until we have to leave at 8 for daycare. Sometimes he stays awake and talks and smile at bubble guppies and sleeps at daycare right away... So that's what we do every morning!

My guy usually wakes around 6-6:30 and i think that actually works perfect with our schedule. He usually falls back asleep just as we are leaving or in the car ride over. I am 2 weeks out from returning to work so we are just now practicing the scheduling and getting him adjusted to the nanny etc. Any tips you mamas have going into this I would love to hear them!

Most mornings I have to wake him up to get him ready but if he's still tired he'll fall back asleep while eating or in the car. I also EBF and wake up at 5am, pump for 15-20mins, get myself ready (including cleaning pump, packing bottles, starting breakfast, etc) then I go wake up lo. I get him ready, breastfeed while I eat and then we leave the house a lil before 7am. At night I nurse usually right when we get home (7ish) & depending on what time he eats & goes to bed I may nurse again. Usually he goes down 8-8:30ish. It's crazy juggling work and being EBF but I wouldn't have it any other way :)
