Failed the 1 hr glucose test

Thank you ladies and yeah, I was blaming myself. I guess I just didn't know why I failed it and was looking for an explanation. I want nothing more than for the baby to be healthy and it's scary to hear bad results.

I also just failed my 1 hour today and am going to take my 3 hour early next week, I'm a little bummed but I've been reading like crazy to at least be prepared in case it turns out I do have GD, good luck with your 3 hour and keep us updated

I'm sorry you failed your 1 hour.

I know exactly how you feel I exercised during my pregnancy, ate healthy, no diabetes in my family, but I did fail my 3 hr and had GD.

I hope you pass yours but having GD is not your fault in any way no matter how healthy you eat and how much you work out anyone can end up with it.

This same thing happened to me. I gave GD but since I started checking my sugar it's been completely normal. Keep doing what you are doing and hang in there. These little babies do a number on our bodies

I couldn't fast, my test was at 4pm. I would have starved! Lol

I failed my 1 hr glucose test I just took the 3hr one today omg it was horrible you can't throw up the juice you have too sit for 3 hrs you have too have your blood drawn 4x omg thank god I didn't faint omg that's scary ??????

The 3 hour test is awful but I've failed the 1 he with all 3 of my kids and only had GD with my youngest.

I have failed the one hour twice out of three times and passed the 3 hour each time.

The 3 hour test is rough and not any fun but a lot of people who failed the one hour go on to pass the 3. Try not to stress too much!

I've had several friends fail the 1hr test but pass the 3hr one. My dr just gave me paperwork to do mine in 4 weeks - she told me I didn't have to fast as long as I didn't eat 1hr prior to my appt. I plan to fast anyway - I think that's why my friends failed. (I could be wrong, but that's my plan)

No history of diabetes doesn't mean you're not at risk for Gd.

How do I know? I've got it and no one in my family has ever had either.

It sucks. And the 3 hour test sucks. But hopefully you'll pass it.
