It starts ?
So with all this going back and forth with bad hormone draws, and then the ultrasound with no baby, and the surprise of baby actually being seen a couple days later, this pregnancy has been a roller coaster. When I finally saw baby (which was unexpected entirely) I was so elated but so terrified. Just the last couple days, after a almost two weeks of paranoid checking for blood, I had finally started to relax and be optimistic. Now I'm spotting and completely crushed and terrified again. The office is closed so it's going to be a long weekend wait to see what's going on. I feel like I just can't win. Why does my body keep song this to me? No one has answers for me. Just heartbreak after heartbreak.

How far along are you?

I'm 7weeks now. And I know spotting doesn't necessarily mean a loss, but given how this pregnancy has gone, and given my history of losses, I'm not very hopeful at this point.

I hope so too. Not very optimistic about it, but I still hope and pray. I'm sitting here debating going to the er. I know from experience they can't really do anything, but i don't know if I can wait all weekend for answers to know if I should stop taking my progesterone, and if I can take some ibuprofen if it starts aching. I'm just kind of in a bit of shock right now.

I have been in your shoes. Keep taking your progesterone. Keep checking the flow. Evn if you start heavily bleeding take it. You never know and if you stop and you do lose it you will always wonder what if. Give your baby a fighting chance. I know its tough but you can do this! Its going to be positive mama you wait and see

I spot early on and even into second trimester. A few days after sex usually. It was a lot of it, dark red and turned to brown.

I hope you get some answers soon and I hope this weekend goes quickly for you! Hang in there

With your history, I would go to the ER or urgent care just to get it checked on. I bled at 6 weeks and it was nothing to worry about! I'm going to be 24 weeks on Sunday now and baby is perfectly healthy. But I know that fear when you see the blood. It's terrifying. I'll be praying for you and I hope it's just normal spotting. Stay strong!

I did end up going in. I'm horrible at waiting. LO is in there still, and hb around 122. They didn't see any blood under the placenta, so they're not sure where it's coming from so I got my rhogam shot and on strict bed rest for a couple days.

I must say I was not really expecting good news given my history. But this pregnancy is going to be the death of me up and down and up and down. Oi!

It is. But i don't know how women can do this for weeks and weeks. It's just 1pm and I'm already stir crazy lol. Thank goodness for smart phones. I've been Bing watching one born every minute (I'm addicted) and bb periodically.
