I read on the net u can eat them now however my midwife told me not to..I have been eating lots of snickers and peanut butter,I don't really believe eating them can make baby allergic as y would it only be peanuts u can't eat, theres lots of other food that cause big allergies like kiwis and stuff x

They say if you have asthma to avoid them as your baby may develop an allergy( or used to say) but I eat them as far as I know you can now

During both pregnancies I have been told that it is fine to eat peanuts during pregnancy just as long as no one on either side of the family suffers from a nut allergy, especially on the fathers side for some reason (?). Enjoy!!!!! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

I think it's because we're told to void certain things that our kids don't build up a tolerance to them. I was told last pregnancy (3+ years ago) and this one that peanuts are fine as long as you don't have asthma. Go for it!

They used to say if you have allergies you'll pass them on if you eat peanuts. Now they say this could happen if you avoid them altogether as baby needs to build up tolerance. They are totally fine to eat x

I was told to avoid peanuts as my husband suffers from eczema and on my side of the family we have asthma. I dont recall eating peanuts but my daughter has got eczema anyway and prob will end up with asthma too. I dont think it matters. Hmmm now I fancy a snicker 😏

Okay during pregnancy, but once baby is born they shouldn't have them before 3 yrs old. Repeated exposure that young can cause an allergy to develop.
