When Will the Pain Stop?

When Will the Pain Stop?

I'm going on my 3rd day since my miscarriage and I'm still in so much pain. I passed my baby naturally at the hospital on Thursday night, but I'm still having extremely painful cramps. I've been taking Ibuprofen and Tylenol but the pain just isn't going away.. :(

Thank you ladies ❤ I still have an appointment with my obgyn on Tuesday but I'm calling to see if I can move it to tomorrow. I hope everything's okay.. the doctor at the hospital said since I passed my baby fully intact that the pain should subside but it's almost just as intense as it was the night it happened. I might need to make another trip to the ER :(

I'm so so sorry for all of your losses. It's so sad to me that so many women go through this :(

I am having the same pain as you ??. my husband almost called an ambulance for me last night but he was able to get me into the car and get to the er where I received morphine and Percocet to help with the pain...i would never wish that pain on my worst enemy, I am so sorry for your loss momma I'm right there with you! It's devastating emotionally and the pain is unbearable, please go to the er and insist on getting pain management you don't need to suffer anymore ...the loss of our babies was enough pain.. praying for you and all you mommies?

Last week, I had the same thing for about 4 days - bleeding and intense cramping. I finally took naproxen which seemed to numb the cramps enough for me to do the basics like feed myself and rest because ibuprofen wasn't doing enough. When I was finally able to go for an ultrasound to ensure I had passed all the tissue, my cramps and bleeding had subsided considerably (day 6 after the formal miscarriage, day 8 of the start of the whole ordeal). My thoughts are with you and I know how hard it is to be physically in pain while emotionally a mess. Get things checked to make sure you passed everything and that you are physically healthy!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Can your doctor give you anything stronger for the pain? I had a D&C a little over a week ago and the doctor prescribed pain medication for me but I thankfully didn't need it. Can yours do the same?

I didn't chose to do it naturally, I probably wouldn't if I had the choice.. :( On Thursday I went to the ER and went to the bathroom and my baby fell out of me, still in its sac perfectly intact. So I thought that the pain would stop. The bleeding I don't mind too much, it's like a very heavy period. But the pain from the cramps is so bad I can't even stand during the day..

But thank you, I'm so very sorry for your losses ladies. I wouldn't wish this on anyone..

Tomorrow will be two weeks of my mc and I still feel some pain. It started to fade away a little like 5 days after.

Firstly, I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds as though you haven't passed everything. As soon as I passed my baby, the pain subsided. I would call the hospital and explain. Sx

You may not have passed everything. I am so sorry you're going through this. The waiting for it to be "over" is the worst part.

At least I had some "control" over my situation. I can't imagine having to wait it out. I am so very sorry.
