Stuffy nose help!
I have had a stopped up nose for over a week now. Before I was pregnant, the only thing that would work for me is mucinex d so I'm skeptical of spending money on sudafed or Benadryl when I'm almost certain it's not strong enough. I've been using nasal spray but it obviously only works for a short period of time. I just want to breathe again! Any suggestions?!

I have a cool mist humidifier by my bed. I love the cool air and it helps with the stuffiness. Plus you'll need a cool mist humidifier for baby, at some point. They work good for when baby gets that first dreaded cold :(
So you might as well invest in one now. Just make sure its cool mist. And I like the ones without filters....so you don't have extra things to buy for it or replace

I have it too! I light a strong scented candle by my bed and let it burn during the night. It opens my senses right up!

@Tisha I feel u on the spitting thing, I had it my whole first trimester and a little in the third, i was literally filling up bottles but it was a way to help me not throw up, so I prefer bein stuffed up than going back to that it was so disgusting!

I've been dealing with this since the 2nd trimester! I hate it, but it was either this or that spitting situation, so I'd rather this. But I just plug in the stuffy side with toilet paper and breathe through the side that's clear. After a about 30 minutes, the stuffy side opens up...

I get one side that stops up while I am sleeping and if I turn to the opposite side it always drains....sometimes have to turn 3-4 times a night. If both get stopped up at the same time I used the Vicks vapor rub on each side of my sinuses and below my nose.

Try warm saline water rinse with the netty pot

Have you tried a neti pot? It cleans your sinuses out!! I did that & a natural nasal spray with eucalyptus b/c it's a natural antibiotic. It cleared up a sinus infection for me!

Its been happening to me too now goin on probably 3weeks, I use nasal spray, vapor rub, or boiled water with vapor rub and pepper mints in it and put a towel over my head and breathe it in, it works a little, but I think stuffy nose just comes with pregnancy at this point lol
