@shellybear, smh idk why people are so rude & can't take in consideration that our body's are going threw enough with being pregnant, I wish we could get payed time off our whole pregnancy & up until the baby's 1 lol that would be beautiful

it really does depend on What type of job you have. I work fast food, Chick-fil-a, they are always so busy I can barely keep up now... and some of them my managers i mean don't like me Because i have a lot of issues already because of my pregnancy

I work 40 sometimes more hours a week. I'm in real estate/ property management. I think it really depends on the type of work. I plan to cut back in the next couple months.

I munch on red bell peppers and hummus and somehow try to stay awake! I get so tired by 2 pm though!

I worked a little over 50 hours a week up until I was 6 months. With 2 days off. It was tough! I groomed dogs.

Oh yes I did, trust me. People are not very nice no matter where you work. On top of that, I haven't even been able to go back to work. They made me train my temporary replacement but she isn't so temporary now and they don't know how to get me back in..

I worked 40+ every week right up until I had my baby. I work in a pharmacy so I was always on my feet.

Or maybe ask for three days off instead of two and keep the long our shifts. Just do what YOU need to do. Apples also help with giving you a natural boost of energy. Try keeping apple slices on you at work and much those when you start to feel weak and sleepy! (:

Once you hit the second trimester, you'll get a second wind. I promise! Try to cut back to maybe 30 hours as of right now until you feel better. And then you can go back to whatever you want (40 hours) if you feel up to it. I'm sure a doctor will write a note supporting it. And then most doctors recommend going to maturity leave 3 weeks before the due date.

@jennatess yeah that's not to bad , I never get to sit down I'm constantly moving fixtures around & pushing merchandise out , even when we are slow I can't sit nor will they send me home , they get angry because I can't lift heavy stuff , I'm in my first trimester so of course I feel like crap . But I want to work up until my body tells me like look that's enough

You work as long as your comfortable! I work 5 days a week 4-6 hour shifts. Not bad. My feet start to swell and hurt the more I'm on them (I'm a server.), but, my shifts aren't really that long, so, I'm okay. I'm going to try and work up until 3 weeks before the due date.

@shellybear, yeah your right , my body is just very sluggish & my job has made me miserable before I even got pregnant so it's like 100x worse now & constantly being on my feet & moving things around is just making it worse (I work retail)
