@babyleon, yes. Him and his dad split the rent 50/50 but my boyfriend pays all the utilities as well. But with me not getting many hours I don't understand how I'm supposed to pay as much as my FIL would like me to. Plus I will have to buy formula and diapers for my son

That's a lot for utilities. I only pay about $50 max for electric and my apartment comes with W/S/G.

@daylenerebecca, yes it's the cheapest we could find to live in a good area, @babynessa California makes you pay for literally everything, @mamaash we asked him to move in with us to have some help and so he wasn't sleeping on a couch anymore

not to pry or anything but i looked it up and i'm assuming you got the 2 bedroom one bath before he moved in? bc you can get a 2 bedroom 2 bath for like 1594 so pretty much the same as your 2 bdr 1 bath

Giiiirrrlll that's way too much for utilities! I live in a 2bd/1ba apartment and my electric has NEVER been higher than $90. Usually it's like $40 and we're horrible about turning the lights off. If you haven't seen the bill and he's just telling you that's how much it costs, you should definitely ask to see it lol

Мама сына-младенца

@nikilauren, I keep all the bills or they won't get paid 😂 it high because of the "city fee" it would only be $80 if it wasn't for that

If I am renting a bedroom out of a 3bedroom apartment, and give money to the person on the lease for rent, is it legal for her to not spend money on the actual rent???? I just saw a note on the door yesterday that was a 3 day notice and it clearly said rent had not been paid (even partially) for Dec or Jan. I know I gave her half the rent both times (she in fact gets a little rude about it). Now...I am already frustrated I have to move right when the twins are due, but I am curious where the hell the money is going, her daughter didn't get any Xmas presents, no rent was paid, and she supposedly went to work several days of the week a bunch of times. Can she take rent money from me and not spend any money at all on rent???

I wish I had a job because my lease is almost up where I am now and my SO's sister decided that she'll let us rent her place and honestly I don't want to. It's too far away from everything, there's no service out there, and I just wouldn't feel comfortable. I feel like I don't really have a say cause I don't work. Like if I was bringing in income my opinion would matter more. And I feel like it would be more money for utilities than to just rent an apartment. Am I wrong?

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
