I really thought I was getting a baby shower and like no one has even thought about giving me one. This is my first baby i mean no one has to do anything for me I just at least thought they had plans for me and they don’t. They gave my uncle one because his wife didn’t want one because she already had a kid.And everyone got a baby shower and was giving one .But I guess it’s okay. I’ll do my own baby shower with my next child I just thought family planned a baby shower for you . Lol guess I thought wrong.
Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

This is my 2nd child but we are a military family and weren't able to do a baby shower back home for our son. So my sister in law told me she is planning me a sprinkle. And I really don't want any part of the planning ? she uses Pinterest so I trust her hahaha

I would Love to have a shower! BUT..... I just had a baby 18 mo. ago And she is the same gender as my current pregnancy. I dont see anyone coming either as this is my 5th! lol Its tacky to host my own so ill go with out for my last baby. and Live through all your guys posts and photos!

My mom, best friend and the owner of the store I work at all want to have showers for me lol mom and best friend will plan together and the owner wants to have one at her house for me. My baby is 9yrs old so I don't have a problem with showers. Won't start planning until late July due to my so being his best friends best man and they have alot going on too for the wedding

Didn't go according to plan tonight. My sister lives in texas now and we went over invite list and had to cut it down a little bit with the list. Long story short my sister was upset bc we had to cut her mother in law which I see once every few yrs. I want the baby shower to be with everyone that is active in my life and part of it. I dunno what to do. Cant make anyone happy these days

Im having one but it wasnt me who decided it was my soon to be mother-in-law. This pregnancy im having another boy and only needed a few things. But since this is my fiances first baby she decided that shed plan a small one so that he could understand the full experience since he wont get it again. Im very greatful for it though cuz somethings that i wanted (cuz my sister and i are due a week apart) i put on my registries so we could have extras like blankets and toys.

We were going to have a shower. But I want my husband to be involved and we were supposed to have a small wedding reception this summer since we got married in the cold months.. We are having a "Baby I Do BBQ".... just a few bump and jumps, and a bbq. The invites just say if anyone wants to bring a gift, we ask it is geared towards Ariana

I had thought about having one but decided not to. I already have everything I need. I had planned on doing a welcome baby party to begin with but will definitely be doing it for sure now. IF baby comes before Halloween (which she should because I'm due the 28th and all my babies arrive a week or two ahead of time) we'll have a Halloween party with our friends and family.
