did hubby go too Did your hubby go with you to your very first dr visit?

Dh has come to all of my apts so far..and is going to cone to the one next week...he wants to come and I'm glad bc I wouldn't want to see our son without him

My husband has went to all but one of my appointments!!! We are first time parents and I find it important for him to be thete':)

Yes my hubby has gone to every dr appt with all three kids including this pregnancy. My doctor gives credit to him, we've only seen one other guy in the dr. Office.

My partner has been to both scans, but it's too hard for him to get time off work every 4 weeks for a doctors appointment. Although I'm at my midwife appt today, and I wish he'd been here to park the car, parking is impossible at this hospital.

Well, brought DH along to our first prenatal but no HB yet using the Doppler. I am just over 8 weeks and the dr was hesitant to even try since it's so early. Sigh. I have to wait a whole month now. This baby is really helping me work on my patience...😏

Hubby will be going with me for the first time this Thursday and I'm now 17 weeks.

He just started a new job and is still under 3 month probationary period so we decided to save those for the late term appt.

He happens to have Thursday off and we are both so excited especially him!

My first pregnancy I told my husband he didn't needto come, but we mc that baby. Now with this pregnancy he comes to every appointment! Even when I had my glucose test! I think he's become superstitious! And I also appreciate the company.

My hubby went to every one with our daughter and has gone to everyone this time. Both pregnancies have been high risk. My daughter was born 2 yrs ago at 32 wks and our goal is at least 32 wks with our little boy. Its very special to have him with me. And yes he was in there when they did my pap and every week when they check my cerclage.

My bf goes with me to every appointment. Granted only been two so far soon to be three but it is so much better with him there. The baby's grandparents are there too just out in waiting room..

Last time I was pregnant, hubby didn't go to the first appt, which was also the first u/s. He figured no biggie he'd come to another one. We lost the baby 2 weeks later. So this time around he goes to every appt and it has been so special for him.

He thinks it's hilarious that he keeps getting very direct views of the pelvic exam though. At one point the dr had all the metal apparatus hanging out of me and dh kept referring to my "Terminator cooch" lol. He's also seen my cervix on a big-screen tv and watched the dr swab out a bunch of brown bloody goo. This kind of dedication is not for the faint of heart or sex lives in peril lol.

It's good to hear the options from everyone. My first prenatal (9 weeks) is tomorrow morning. They will have a Doppler to listen for a heartbeat but I know it may be too early. Have invited DH along just in case we can hear it - I want us to share that first together. Am feeling a little awkward that he'll be there for the pap part but I guess I will just have to get over that soon enough, eh?

Hubby goes to every appt. with me, along with my Mama and Daddy came to anatomy scan.

I don't have my husband go ..I would rather him work more now so he can spend more time at home when the baby is here...plus I think we need all the money we can get get right now....but sometimes I do see husbands at the doc..but not all the time...it's whatever you can swing! Good luck😐😐😐😐

Hubby's been to all my appointments with me. We both got teary-eyed when we saw our baby for the first time, and heard her heartbeat, at our first appointment 😐 Really special!

Yes, my husband has been to every single one. Did that with my first and still doing so with this one ☺
