Did your hubby actually see your child exit the birth canal? Did it traumatize him?
Yes and no. At first he didn’t want to,
But when the time came he changed his mind!
Yes he saw everything. Doctors offered a mirror so we could watch. Didn’t traumatized him at all. He liked being able to watch. We had a natural birth when he watched. I feel like a c section would have been different watching.
Yes, he saw that. He told me beforehand that he did not want to see it. You know, thought it might preserve our sex life and all, lol. But he ended up looking because he couldn't help himself. He told me that he was glad that he did after all!! No trauma whatsoever.
I’ve had c-sections but my husband has caught glimpses of both babies being pulled out but didn’t react in front of me as to not freak me out 😂 I don’t think it has anything to do with being “man” enough. Even as a mother myself I’m queasy about watching babies being birthed either way and I sure am “woman” enough.
My husband watched all 4 kids being born and he was good
I had a c section and neither my husband or I wanted to see me opened up like that. I think to a degree it can have to do with seeing your spouse that you love so much being put in a painful or dangerous situation and fearing for them.
I’m with @mhbb3 on this. You can still be a “real man” and be negatively affected by witnessing childbirth in all its glory. My husband is an Army veteran, so he’s pretty tough, but he didn’t want to see my intestines being moved around. He did certainly watch the actual birth when they pulled out my son.
My husband “caught” my son and brought him to my chest. The Dr let him. He loved every second of the birthing process. We could not wait to meet our baby 😍
I don't feel it has anything to do with him being a man. My gut just says it would mess with him lol. And I think it would mess with me knowing it was messing with him. He's weird about blood and needles lol I don't want to damage him 😄
My boyfriend seen everything and he wasn't nervous at all. He was very fascinated by the whole situation. He told me watching our daughter come out was the most beautiful thing he had seen. Whereas my friend said she had a horrible experience with her husband. He was traumatized and she said he didn't even want to cut the cord so iguess some of us get lucky. But my man was great I hope your experience is just as beautiful. ✨
My husband was sorta traumatized when he saw them pull my son out of my stomach. He like how in the hell did that happen😂😂 now he’s not and loved that he saw it all
I don't think I want him down there lol
No way. My dh wouldn’t look anywhere near there. He almost passed out before I even gave Birth. He was facing the wall the whole time with his head up by mine lol
Yeeep he saw and he was very very emotional lol but no it didn't traumatized him
My husband saw everything and he loved each second of it!! ♥️
Even better, my poor husband had to see them rummaging in my insides during my C-section. He tried to avoid looking, but caught glimpses I think. He won’t talk about it 😳😂
Yes he saw EVERYTHING. And it did not traumatize him, he said it was the most beautiful experience
Baby's weight..?
How much did your LO weigh at your last ultrasound & how many weeks were you?
Birthday! ?
What did your SO get you on your last birthday?
What age did you start giving your kids flavored milk?
Hubby watched the whole time and even recorded it. He said he’s bred so many animals for so long it doesn’t bother him to see birth happen lol. I’m so thankful for my strong man ❤️
