When did you guys go into labor after getting your membranes stripped ?

I'm still waiting n it's been like 33 hours since I had it done
@missmama92, My dr scheduled me an appointment the following morning to do it again if it didn’t put me in labor. She said come back, I’ll do another sweep and have you walk the floor but I never made it to my appointment. I was holding my baby girl by the time of my appointment.
@oneplusone they told me they will do it again on my next appointment which is next monday if I dont ho into labor bu then
Personally never had that done but my close friend whose had it done the past three times always went into labor not even a whole 24 hours later.
@missmama92, oh noo 😞 don’t lose hope mama ! Baby gotta come out eventually.
@missmama92 like I said, it happened past the 48 hour mark for me. So there is still hope 😁 and I was only 1-3 cm or something too.

My doctor was like do you want to have this baby today? And I was like yes. He did a stretch and sweep and told me to leave, have dinner, and just keep walking. He promised I’d go into labor and would meet me at the hospital. Sure enough I was in labor within an hour.
Lucky I got mines done yesterday at 10 am n no baby yet
@missmama92, did you stay active. You need to walk walk walk or it’s not going to work.

I think I went into labour a bit over 2 days later! I didnt think it worked at first, because I read that it should work sooner than that. Anyway, contractions did start hours afterwards but I think the morning of day 3 they were really strong and baby was born at 5 pm that day.
I'm feeling alot of pressure now I might be going in soon at this rate lol

A membrane sweep is losing your mucus plug. Just a doctor/midwife swiping it.
Even a preterm labor, and induction you would have to lose your plug in order to have your baby. Idk how to advise you..
I'm guessing I really wasn't paying no attention when it happen

I did with my second kid. Also, keeping busy and moving helps afterwards as well.

@mississippi.queen my first was preterm at 36 weeks ,2nd was c-section and third was induced
I went into labor 16 hours later and delivered 19 hours after my sweep.
