I think I went into labour a bit over 2 days later! I didnt think it worked at first, because I read that it should work sooner than that. Anyway, contractions did start hours afterwards but I think the morning of day 3 they were really strong and baby was born at 5 pm that day.
My doctor was like do you want to have this baby today? And I was like yes. He did a stretch and sweep and told me to leave, have dinner, and just keep walking. He promised I’d go into labor and would meet me at the hospital. Sure enough I was in labor within an hour.
My dr scheduled me an appointment the following morning to do it again if it didn’t put me in labor. She said come back, I’ll do another sweep and have you walk the floor but I never made it to my appointment. I was holding my baby girl by the time of my appointment.

I did with my second kid. Also, keeping busy and moving helps afterwards as well.

A membrane sweep is losing your mucus plug. Just a doctor/midwife swiping it.
Even a preterm labor, and induction you would have to lose your plug in order to have your baby. Idk how to advise you..

Personally never had that done but my close friend whose had it done the past three times always went into labor not even a whole 24 hours later.
