Glad you were able to go in & got the epi!!! Sorry about the stupid doctor though :( I hope the rest goes well from here!

Glad you're FINALLY taking care of you. With my 3rd (induced) the nurses were MEAN! Acted like I was spazzing and peeing all over myself for nothing. Three held me down for the epi...when they finally realized I was at a ten, that got their attention. Don't let them bully you!

They kept me...finally not in pain anymore got my epidural a half hour ago!! After hours of crying and in pain...

When I first arrived there wasn't a bed available and they had me wait in the waiting room!!' I came in crying and had to stand the whole time which was a half hour! I was rocking back and fourth in pain almost screaming! Then I get put in a shared room for the time being until a bed opened up (thankfully I was the only one occupying it!)

I'm in a room now and am at 5cm baby's head dropped lower then it was when I first got here and had my first cervix check. My water didn't break or anything of the sort....

Just taking it easy and waiting it out!!' Can't wait to meet my little girl!!!!

Tbh if you could get in the car and try to go somewhere then you could still have a bit to go. If I remember my first labor correctly. I wouldn't go in til they're way closer than 15 mins only because I don't want to sit in the hospital forever.

Eventually slow labor should become active labor. Glad you are going in. Good luck!

I feel like doctors often act like it's no big deal because they see super extreme cases and that makes them almost indifferent to the "normal" ones.

If it feels that bad to you then go in! You know your body better than they do.

I had 12 hours of contractions last night, got down to 4 mins apart an I was curling up in bed moaning during them then they eased off an completely went away so your doctor may not be that crazy for saying that, we get told that here by everyone l&d, midwives, doctors etc, this is my 4th an I do have long labors so I know that I could have a couple of days of this on an off before the real thing, good luck :)

Not every one has consistent contractions. Just go in if your in that much pain

Just go to l&d... you know your body best

That's crazy . with my first child (6yr old) my water didn't break but I was in labor with the worst pains & contractions ever I dilated and then the doctor burst my water for me . so your water doesn't always break first .

I should have called when I was in the middle of a contraction! When I did call I didn't have one yet so I felt ok but still really crampy so I guess it didn't show in my voice but still it's ridiculous ... Not everyone's water breaks before they make it to the hospital!!!

My mom always tells me to lie and say something more serious lol but I feel guilty doing that I don't want to be the one to cry wolf. But in your situation I would!

Right!!! My other doctors are great! But I guess she was the one available when I called...a nurse had to call me back to tell me what the doctor said!

What a horrible doctor..I'd just go in myself and insist on being checked! Raise hell girly! No one wants to piss off an angry pregnant lady.

Aww honey bunch. Go to L&D if your in that much pain you could be on labor.

Wth??!!! I would be cursing my doc out and would go to l&d anyway. The ER can't refuse you either. Thankful I do have a good doc though.
