Thrush What does thrush on nipple feel like?

Sorry no advice, but I'm having a similar problem, my lo is 3wks tmrw and has a great latch but still sometimes my nipples feel a little burning when he first latches and after I feed him! I asked the dr today and she looked in his mouth and said we don't have thrush! She never even looked at my nipples or anything! Just said no to thrush hoping it just goes away :(

And I'm reading too your baby doesn't necessarily have to have it or at least show the white mouth for them to have thrush. I even told my doctor he has a white tongue but I'm not sure if it's milk or not and she just blew me off.

If you can wipe the white off of their tongue it is not thrush, just milk residue. Around 3 weeks old my daughters latch changed and my nipples began to hurt again. Once we fixed the latch it stopped hurting.

I know and I really can't wipe it off. It's not a whole bunch of white but it's still there. How did your daughters latch change?
