Your ped won't send a prescription over without looking at baby. It sucks but they want to make sure that's really what baby had. I wouldn't let them give you nystatin either because it's so sugar it can not make it go away. L

You can try to look for antifungal drops at the pharmacy or just ask the pharmacist

Its a yeast infection of the mouth. It usually occurs in infants. Your doctor can prescribe antifungal drops for your baby. It usually is caused by residue milk or and infection passed between you and the baby. It shows up as white pathces in the mouth and can hurt. Dont try to wipenit off it will bleed
I finally made them give me medicine other than the cream. They gave her and I both Diflucan. The cream does work for your nipples as long as you catch t right away. 😞
