We made it to the hotel, we have about 3 hours until the storm enters Georgia. From all the updates...we most likely wont have a home to go back to after this is all over. I'm going to continue to pray, at this point I just want us to survive this. I know I already said it but please keep my babies & I in your prayers.
Keep the baby or Abortion....... I'm 5 weeks pregnant which was not planned, told my family and there over the moon. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years, we said we would be together no matter what. We both live with our parents and I'm in full-time work and he isn't. I've always wanted to be a mum it's one of my dreams, but my boyfriend thinks we should have an abortion because he thinks we are not ready, he doesn't have a full-time job and we are not living together. I don't believe in abortions and he said he would stay with me if I decide to keep it. But I scared he might leave. Should I keep the baby that I've always wanted and might not ever have one or have in abortion, know I have to live with the pain for the rest of my life and what till we are both ready? Please HELP :-(
Still haven't told DH... ...that we're expecting! ? Tonight we were at dinner with my brother and SIL and they just had a baby 4 weeks ago. She said something about babies and DH replies, with such an attitude, "uh no! Never again, we are done!"
So I had a rash on my inner thighs so my doctor gave me a ultrasound just to check to see if the babies is in my uterus he said it is I'm 5weeks and 3days not 19weeks and 1 they put the wrong date In but he said there is. No baby only a sac he said he wouldn't expect to as a baby at 5 weeks anyway so he is making me come back on the 20th I'm Scares ladies is this normal ??
Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't have any diseases, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, i don't have a bad heart, lungs, or anything else. So I'm healthy I'm just over weight. So then we argued about him having an issue with my weight.. Am i wrong in this? Because it really hurt my feelings.. I've tried sooo many different things to lose weight but having hypothyroidism makes you gain/hard to lose. And my medications for depression and anxiety cause you to gain also.. So it's very hard to lose weight.. But i didn't even know he had an issue with my weight until last night..

Anyways I'm not sure...dd goes to Kaiser and they recommend waiting till 1 years old for blood to be drawn. I hope you get to find out if this is common or not, I've never seen it(only seen bruises).

My paramedic friend said that it's a sign the tourniquet was left on too long. She still has some bruising. It's just bothered me because Raimi had bad dreams almost everyday for several days after. I'm scared she's traumatized:(

That is not ok, and yea that is a sign of a tourniquet being left on to long and way to tight!!! My sister bis a flabotimist and she said that is not called for and she would file a complaint for sure!

All they needed was a vile full I think. But the tech kept moving the needle around and my baby was screaming. Took her 10 minutes . That's how long my baby was panicking. Uncalled for

When Bladen was in the hospital on a pediatric floor they took blood from a foot prick, and they got 2 small vials of blood. The lady said she wanted to do it this way Cause that's what's best for babies and don't have to put a turniquet on and be forceful, cause the first thing they are ant to do is move their arm they can't be still like you and I!

I wish they had done it that way! They did a finger prick, but supposedly the requirements here are intravenous if lead comes back positive. It was not a pleasant experience and I'm really apprehensive in trusting the judgement of their vaccine choices now. I'm praying about what to do. That tech will never touch my baby again.

..and if the tourniquet was too tight for too long, the end result could have been really bad, according to our paramedic friend. When I learned that, I was piping hot.

I would at least file a complaint about it. They need to know how you feel about it so they can think twice about doing it again and thinking it's normal!

Faith is correct they can use the babies foot but some offices are use to tourniquets and needles. However, I'm a medical assistant we take blood all the time from all ages and having a tourniquet on for too long is no good and there is no excuse for bruising the skin. You could possibly have a bruise at the site of entry but it wouldn't look like that. You are right to file a complaint, and like the other momma said they should've taken it seriously!!!!!!

Thanks so much. I love getting yalls feedback. I waited a week to report because I figured it was routine. But the more I talked and googled. I'm still waiting for a call back from their manager. Ugh

Thats great!! Its specially awful for us as mom's to see our baby's in pain...we always wish we could suffer their pains, instead of them...!
