would you...?

Would you want your mom to come to your final ultrasound with you? I get to have a last one on thursday. I'm super excited about! Mom asked if she could come...I know it sounds like an easy decision. I'm very reserved and that to me would be uncomfortable, but it would literally make her year! But I don't know if I can handle her tears and her emotions seeing the baby on the screen... so is it bad if I say no...? Or is that mean of me? I don't wanna take this away from her...or should I just say yes and suck it up?

After prayer and discussion with hubby, we decided as part of her mother's day to let her watch. I told her she cannot embarrass me and she agreed. lol. I'm sure she will love it

I wish I have my mom close by...I would love for her to be at my ultrasound. (My husband is in the military we currently live in the west coast, both of our families are on the east coast) But every person and situation is different. It's really all up to you.

I've invited my mom to be every ultrasounds. Some she can make and some she can't. She gets positively giddy when she sees my baby on the screen or when I put her hand on my tummy. For me personally, its completely gratifying to share this with my mom. Its like completing the circle. I'm her baby and now I'm having a baby and technology is soo different these days that she's literally speechless at what they can do now a days :-) ita entirely up to you but I can't imagine not sharing this with my mom. :-)

It's not like she would be looking in your vagiina.. It's simply an ultrasound. I'm guessing she will not be allowed in the room during delivery?!

I would let my mom come. Her baby is having a baby so it'll be such a precious moment for her.

I have an ultrasound tomorrow I'm unsure if it'll be my last but my mother is coming and I'm dreading it! I love my mom but she is a control freak and I know she's going to take over the entire appointment. She's going to be in the delivery room and I'm worried I'll have to ask her to step out because I know she will not care what I want and everything needs to be what she wants.

My mom is coming to mine. We are close and honestly I would let my mil come. Hell is let them both in the room while I gave birth if that's what they wanted. They love this child already and if they want to be there to support it, I'm down with that.

I would love to take my mom to see that but she past away when I was 16. Don't take anything for granted. My mil came to our first ultrasound and I'm glad she did. :)

I took my mom to a 3d ultrasound for her birthday. She had never seen one before and she was an awe I loved seeing her happy and having someone to share that excitement with me was amazing for both of us. Again it's completely up to you if you don't feel comfortable then don't do it.

Well the choice is yours to make but if it helps I take my mom and son with me only cause hubby is unable to make any ultra sounds cause of his work and plus I need someone there to help me with my son and to me it's nice to be able to have someone their to experience it with me

Just me but I would. She was in the delivery room when I had my first. I was so upset when she couldn't make it to anything with my second (she didn't even make the birth. Just me and hubby). Sharing the pregnancy experience with my mom, if possible, is a given. Maybe that's just me.

If it were me, I'd let her come.

My mom goes to all my appointments. I would rather share the experience with someone close to me then alone.

Losing my mom before I could share milestones with her I would absolutely let her be a part of the ultrasound experience. It is very memorable and you can share it down the line. But honestly if you don't feel comfortable, don't feel bad for not doing it!! It is what's best for you!

If it were my mom getting all excited about it, I'd definitely bring her. But that's my relationship with my mom. You do what you need to do momma! I don't think there is a "wrong" in this situation.

I wouldn't. Not that me and my mom aren't close, we are, but I am a very reserved person. Something so personal I would only want to share with my husband.

My SO and I paid for a private 3D scan at 28 weeks and took my mom, my stepdad, my grandma, his mom, and his stepdad. It made everyone so happy to be able to have that experience and it's a great memory for us all to have together.

I would! Specially knowing it would make her so happy! I think It's a really nice bond for you two something for her to remember forever as well as bring back being in that place when expecting you! So to be a little uncomfortable myself to make her feel that would be worth it! But that's just me! If your really not comfortable with it then explain it to her! She's your mama I'm sure she'll understand ?

I would definitely have my mum come with me she has come with me to every ultrasound and I love sharing it with her. but it is entirely up to you

I think it is completely up to you but if it were me I would absolutely let my mom come with me but I like taking my mom when I can cuz she always has good questions that I forget to ask. And we are super close.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Since everyone is telling me to.. Here it is.. Well on mom life you stated your procedure was for a hole in your stomach.. But on instagram you "kicked cancers ass" and basically had throat cancer?.. I don't like liars!! Why lie?! I lost the people i loved most to cancer! That's not something to fucking joke about! I lost all respect for you! And if you really do have cancer why lie on mom life saying it was for a hole in your stomach?it just makes no sense to me!

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
