would you...?
Would you want your mom to come to your final ultrasound with you? I get to have a last one on thursday. I'm super excited about! Mom asked if she could come...I know it sounds like an easy decision. I'm very reserved and that to me would be uncomfortable, but it would literally make her year! But I don't know if I can handle her tears and her emotions seeing the baby on the screen... so is it bad if I say no...? Or is that mean of me? I don't wanna take this away from her...or should I just say yes and suck it up?
After prayer and discussion with hubby, we decided as part of her mother's day to let her watch. I told her she cannot embarrass me and she agreed. lol. I'm sure she will love it
I've invited my mom to be every ultrasounds. Some she can make and some she can't. She gets positively giddy when she sees my baby on the screen or when I put her hand on my tummy. For me personally, its completely gratifying to share this with my mom. Its like completing the circle. I'm her baby and now I'm having a baby and technology is soo different these days that she's literally speechless at what they can do now a days :-) ita entirely up to you but I can't imagine not sharing this with my mom. :-)
I have an ultrasound tomorrow I'm unsure if it'll be my last but my mother is coming and I'm dreading it! I love my mom but she is a control freak and I know she's going to take over the entire appointment. She's going to be in the delivery room and I'm worried I'll have to ask her to step out because I know she will not care what I want and everything needs to be what she wants.
I took my mom to a 3d ultrasound for her birthday. She had never seen one before and she was an awe I loved seeing her happy and having someone to share that excitement with me was amazing for both of us. Again it's completely up to you if you don't feel comfortable then don't do it.
Just me but I would. She was in the delivery room when I had my first. I was so upset when she couldn't make it to anything with my second (she didn't even make the birth. Just me and hubby). Sharing the pregnancy experience with my mom, if possible, is a given. Maybe that's just me.
Losing my mom before I could share milestones with her I would absolutely let her be a part of the ultrasound experience. It is very memorable and you can share it down the line. But honestly if you don't feel comfortable, don't feel bad for not doing it!! It is what's best for you!
I would! Specially knowing it would make her so happy! I think It's a really nice bond for you two something for her to remember forever as well as bring back being in that place when expecting you! So to be a little uncomfortable myself to make her feel that would be worth it! But that's just me! If your really not comfortable with it then explain it to her! She's your mama I'm sure she'll understand ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
