Update question: Developmental cysts in brain?
I just got a call from my Dr. Saying I needed to go have a stage 2 ultrasound because in my stage 1 ultrasound they saw 3 developmental cysts in my LOs brain.
OMG Franken you just gave me a mini heart attack lol. But thank you for clarifying it up haha
Thank you ladies. I'll try the Gatorade.
I just got my ultrasound scheduled for the 18th so I'll update everyone then
Okay related question:
caffeine is the only thing that can get rid of my migraines, well since I found out about the cysts I have stopped drinking soda and coffee.
And the migraines have came back at FULL FORCE, any tips to get rid of them without using medication or caffeine?
Oh guys you are making me feel so much better. I was starting to panic because I had never heard of them before
Yes they will most likely talk to you about the amniocentesis test.
My daughter has one cyst on her brain (CPC) they said most babies with downs and Edwards have cysts so that's the only reason they were concerned.
I haven't been back for another u/s yet because my OB doesn't want to schedule it until March-.-
I said no to the amniocentesis since in almost all cases the cysts go away and the baby is perfectly healthy.
Don't stress about it!
@aml I hope that's how this goes, however no one said anything about no caffeine to me... I read your comment as I was sipping coke. I'm done now!
My SIL got told this at her 19 week gender check/ultrasound. They told her to not have any caffeine for three weeks and they would do a level two ultrasound check. She stopped all caffeine and at her next ultrasound 3 weeks later everything was fine. Now has a two-month-old beautiful and healthy daughter.
I'm 22 weeks today and it felt like my baby rotated positions today - granted they move all over the place at this stage, but I wonder if he will be head down next Tuesday at 23 week ultrasound appointment...
Hey! My name is Liza. If I am pregnant, I will be a single mommy. I still am waiting for an ultrasound, though. I'm from Denham Springs, LA. #myfirstpost
The ultrasound tech told me my baby is showing hints as to the baby might having down syndrome. (even though the down syndrome blood test and chromosome 18 blood test came back negative) they said sometimes they can be inaccurate and gave me an option of to not do anything at all, to do additional blood work which is only gonna be 80% accurate or I can do an amniocentesis test which puts the baby at a very low risk of miscarriage but is 100% accurate. they said the baby showing a cyst on the bra...
have any of you mama's ever had a cyst? how serious is this? my doctor thinks the lump on my armpit could be a cyst... I have to go see a general surgeon 😦
Last night I dreamt about having my ultrasound done and seeing the sex of my baby 😩😩 I just know it’s gonna be too early to tell when I go to get my ultrasound done 😩
I'm sorry!!! Right after it posted I was like wait a minute, that doesn't look right. Sorry!!! I'm sure your baby will be fine.
