I'm 22 weeks today and it felt like my baby rotated positions today - granted they move all over the place at this stage, but I wonder if he will be head down next Tuesday at 23 week ultrasound appointment...
@angelfoodcake, thank you so much for that. This whole thing is so confusing. Even if I get induced at 39-40 I’m okay with that but hopefully baby comes on his own when he’s ready! Thank you again
@dlboer86 I'm type 2 really 1.5 - he was 10 ounces at 19 weeks. I go back next week at 23.
but you know what, my babies have never been big. I was GD with my first he was 5'14 at 37+4 - I was actually in l was actually in labor
- my second was 6'7 at 36+6 I developed Preeclampsia , spilling protein in urine. Granted maybe if I would have went longer, they would have been bigger.
Have you been induced early with your other babies?
@raqueliiosiis Full time diabetic. And I think I would want to be induced by 39-40 if it were a choice - maybe you can do some research to check out successes/ factors going natural etc if you are interested. And/or speak with your doc more, she probably has alot of be experience with it, odviously.
I'll see what I can find again, but when I was looking out of curiosity for my niece, that's what I found it's best to induce. Granted some have gone natural.
@angelfoodcake, yes my doctor wants me to go natural she’s not into inducing unless it’s medically necessary and she’s told me that I will end up with a lot more appts once I hit 27 weeks because she wants to make sure nothing goes wrong. I’ve read about that 39 week induction I wouldn’t be against that completely but to just assume 37 weeks is just crazy to me. Are you a diabetic always or just while pregnant?
@angelfoodcake you type 1? I've been type 1 for over 20 years and for some reason this pregnancy I've real resistant. I'm 36.2 and baby is measuring in at whopping 42 weeks. I'm scared about having a c section. I'll probably be induced early to avoid shoulder dystocia like my last labor. (She was so big I broke her clavicle) she was 10.1 at 37.1. how big is your baby right now?
@raqueliiosiis Also I believe maternal specialist and Perinatologist is same thing.
@raqueliiosiis MOST induce by 39 weeks controlled or not with diabetes because the placenta tends to fail earlier which could cause stillbirth. But 37 weeks, automatically assumed that's crazy. So your doc is planning to let you go naturally?
Oh yeah and if you are going to a specialist they should give a ultrasound every visit 😁
@angelfoodcake, i got sent to a specialist and I’ll have to see a perineonatalogist or however you spell that shit lol. They think that if the diet doesn’t work that they’ll give me either medication or insulin until I deliver. But my OB is confident that the diet will work and she’s wanting to make sure the numbers stay looking right so I can go full term. The diabetics clinic they sent me to tho sucked and they told me that I would be induced at 37 weeks and to kick count already. They where ridiculous.
@kpcharlie94 he definitely repositioned he usually hangs out on my left but now he's on the right, I think lol
I’m also 22 weeks and for the past two days I’ve been wondering the same thing. I always feel his head low in my pelvis
@angelfoodcake, I go in tomorrow. So I will probably end up with an ultrasound. The pressure isn’t as bad as it was and my bump is different shaped 😂 but I’m ok with him moving cause I want to see him again
@ambers14 Wow girl, please let us know what happens, you still have time though
@angelfoodcake, yes. My youngest, we went in for induction at 38weeks and she went breech. I had to go home and put ice on my belly and put my butt in the air 😂 went back a few days later and she was in position
My son didn’t flip until about 32 weeks. Then he was sunny side up until about two weeks ago. There are exercises you can do to flip the baby in case it doesn’t happen soon.
@ambers14 You think he swithed at 35 ???
My son has been head down since 20 weeks. But I think he just switched back yesterday lol. His sister did the same
@raqueliiosiis Are they sending you a specialist for the GD or is the practice you are with going to monitor you ?
@angelfoodcake, yes this is my first baby (that I’ve made it this far with). So I’m scared of c-sections. My mom has a history of having breached births. I came out sunnyside, which probably doesn’t matter but the inner paranoid freak in me believes this will be me. Lol I was told I have gestational diabetes also so thanks for that information I know what to expect at my appts now! ☺️
@raqueliiosiis is this your first
@raqueliiosiis Im afraid of that and getting a C-section, I worry alot though smh.
@raqueliiosiis Yep, he was head down at 18 wks - and every appt thereafter and I had over 20 ultrasounds. I'm diabetic and there done at every appt.
@angelfoodcake, he was ready to get out lol. I’m worried this stubborn child of mine won’t turn in time lol he likes being by my ribs and suffocating me lol. He’s kicking by my belly button as we speak
@raqueliiosiis They say most turn by 30 and reason for concern at 34. I don't why my son was head down that long... Lol
@angelfoodcake, no way! That’s crazy and so soon!! Well in that case who knows lol
@raqueliiosiis My last baby was head down since 18 weeks though, so you never know
I doubt it. I’m 24 weeks and when I went to the Drs at 23 weeks his head was still hanging out by my ribs lol. Maybe they’ll flip once we get to the third tri

37 weeks today !! It's almost time..

27 weeks today! 👶🏻💙 Due April 14th!

Baby girl is definitely sticking out today lol first picture is from Tuesday and second is from today 21 weeks 💕🌈🤰🏻🎀
How many weeks are you mommies today I'm going to be 15 weeks 😩

It’s my turn ladies! Wish me luck! 38 weeks exactly today.❤️
@angelfoodcake yeah I was insured with all my babies.. with my first I had her at 38 and a half weeks.. Went in and was actually leading fluid (which I didn't know) they swabbed me to see and it actually broke my water. She was 7.15.
Second I had bad pre-e and was induced at 36.4 be and she was 7.3lb. no complications
My youngest was rough too.. pre-e along with resistance to insulin. Being induced at 37.1 with her and she was 10.1. pushed her out in a single contraction and also broke her clavicle. So with with baby measuring at 42 weeks now (6 weeks ahead) this Friday I should find out when I'm getting induced. Hopefully in the next week. Which will put me at 37 and a half weeks.
Phew sorry this was so long.
Ps. Diabetes is no fun during pregnancy. Lol
