(Help) 1yr old with a fever

Usually if they are acting basically normal just let them rest. Sleep is the way the body heals itself. :) keep up fluid intake.

I hope your LO is feeling better soon.

The fever is down to 101, I gave him a dose of children's Tylenol and he is now napping.

If he wants to sleep let him sleep. It can help him sweat the fever out. Just make sure you monitor the fever.Have you given a dose of Tylenol or Advil for the fever at all?

So we are still in the tub and his fever is now 101 (dropped 1 degree) but all he wants to do is sit on my lap and sleep.

Should I keep him awake or let him sleep?

(He slept from 8pm-7am this morning)

Alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 4 hours until fever is down.

Give ur baby Tylenol. U can find the proper dosage online by weight/age. If the Tylenol won't bring down the fever than you might have to go to the ER.

I called my mother freaking out lol (ftm)

cool rag on back of neck. drink water. check fever regularly and if it gets to 103 take to hospital. they let you pay little payments. I throw 20 dollars here and there too my bills and it keeps them from going to collections.
