Dove is 2 weeks old and has cried nonstop for the past 3 days. No fever, eating normally, not constipated. This is definitely harder than I was expecting.
good luck try keeping the lights low & the white noise try different ones maybe she'd like the heart beat
@aek91, I've tried white noise but haven't tried skin to skin... I'll try that now! Hadn't thought of that. Wish me luck.
@aek91, I don't think so! Because she'll stop for a few minutes then start again.
lol thanks to be honest it's not hard as everyone think
@erica0519, I'm trying all of it... I've been doing the "5 S's" from the happiest baby on the block book. Swaddling, sucking (pacifier), side/stomach position, shhhh-ing, and swinging... it works for maybe 5 mins before she's screaming again
@ktwins188, girl, I'm so glad they only cry when they're hungry because I can't imagine how hard it is with two, even if they aren't crying! You are superwoman!
Swaddling, shushing while rocking, and laying baby slightly on belly while doing the first two works like a charm! It takes practice to get the rhythm but it works
I'm sorry it's hard for you my twins cry only when their hungry
you shouldtake you bby to the doc
they told me my son has colic but he doesn't cry all day just when he's hungry
@erica0519, reading it now! I just wish I knew how to soothe her.
@aek91, it seemed that way but today she's cried NON stop. She's slept for 30 minutes, 3 different times today... but that's it! I've tried gas drops, gripe water, burping, walking, wearing her in her moby wrap, lavender lotion, soothies, her swing... no luck!
Google search "period of purple crying" it will be very informative
she could have colic does she cry around the same time every night or day?
no problem I hope it works
