My poor baby! This appeared on his leg about 5 days ago. I instantly thought it was staph infection so I took him to the dr. They said it is probably just a skin infection so they gave him medicine, but this morning it is even bigger! :( it dosnt seem to be bothering him, but he will be 1 in only four days and if it is staph I am going to cancel his birthday party.

His leg is much better. The head is gone and so is the redness and warmth. The only thing I'm worried about is the hard lump under his skin

@lydycn my husband had it when he was younger and his never spread but it almost went into his blood stream so he had to have Iv fluids every day for 3 weeks. I'm pretty sure this is staph
He is on medication for it, it's covered by a band aid. I haven't touched it.. I know staph is contagious.

Good news: when he woke up this morning the red had faded into a light pink and it is not hot anymore (still kinda warm) the only bad thing is the hardness under the skin is still the same size
@beth if it's staph your not supposed to pop it. That's what makes it spread. /: my husband had staph when he was younger. He popped his spot and then it almost got into his blood, so he hAd to have Iv fluids for 2 hours everyday for 3 weeks
I know i feel so bad for him!
He doesn't cry over it or anything, but still breaks my heart.
It is still red and hot, and the hardness under the skin is bigger now.
He doesn't have a fever tho luckily
Yeah I wasn't very happy that I had a 500$ visit bill and nothing to show for it...
I told them that I thought it was staph and asked if they would.
They said they didn't "want to make a baby cry"

They gave me cephalexin to give him twice a day.
I'm going in tomorrow to another Drs office. I know his serious staph can get.

i’m honestly so upset. today was my boyfriend & i’s anniversary & i thought we would spend the whole day together but he decided to leave to go be with his friends. am i selfish for wanting him the whole day? :/
Wish I could take a full body pic but his Doctor want me to keep him swallowed because his temperature has been really low which has kept me an my baby away from each other all day 😢😟 I haven't got a chance to be with him at all do to it she's been keeping him to keep a close eye on him. Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

Took my kiddo to the doctor and his doctor recommended I get him Melatonin
So I did
I started with 1mg and it did nothing
So I got him 3mg still nothing
Got him 5mg nothing
So today I bought him 10mg
I hope it works
This kid can go the whole night without sleeping and no naps throughout the day

He is on medication. And it's almost completely better!
