Sorry so long! I know I’m probably overreacting but the husband is driving me insane! We have been working on switching our son to a different room and making his room into our new baby girl’s room. Picking out a paint color, decor, anything that is exciting and new and his response is whatever or I don’t care just pick one! I get excited about picking out stuff and getting things ready and he is such a downer about everything it makes me lose my excitement over stuff. I don’t want to just get it done, I want to enjoy it together and do it with him but he’s making it impossible! I ask him what’s wrong and he says it’s just not his thing..trying to be excited without him is getting harder as time is running out!

Thanks everyone... I have pretty much planned it all out and he does the heavy lifting (with my dad’s help cause him and my mom are so excited) and I do the little stuff I can with decorating and all. Just wishing he showed a bit more emotion about the fact we’re going to have another little. Hopefully as time gets closer he will come around.
Agreed with pp. Just do your thing. It'd be like him trying to get you jazzed up over something you truly don't care about.
Why don't you do the planning and when it comes time to paint, hang, move things around, then he should be helping (even if he still isn't excited about it).
Sounds about right. It’s just different for men I guess. I’m sure there are men out there who get excited over these things, there’s just not that many. I know my husband doesn’t really care. Honestly, I don’t mind it. I like doing all these things in my own. Don’t worry about it too much, don’t let it bring you down. Good luck!
yep my SO is the same way, that's why when we go in store we go 2 separate ways. Be excited and do it on your own you got it girl
I’m just discovering more weird Hollywood stuff now. I’m still fairly new to these things. I need to open up my eyes more and dig deeper to find more crazy stuff.

some of the stuff I see on here, like rooms, beds, houses, etc is disgusting! you claim you're a sahm and your husband works hard, then help him out and let him come home to a clean house, bed, sheets, etc🤷🏻♀️

Got home around 11... washed lil man up and made him a bottle... asked my husband to get off his phone and help me put him to sleep... as soon as I did, my husband sat on the couch and fell right to sleep with Zach in his arms... I walked over to him and picked Zach up and he has to nerve to jump awake talking about I scared him because he thought he dropped Zach... this is why I’ve stopped asking him to hold him... he is irresponsible... I ended up setting up Zach’s stand up floor lamp, rearran...
@bartlett425 guys don't put stock into the same things we do, it doesn't mean he isnt excited though! Like my boyfriend can't be bothered to even sit still to look at our baby registry to see if I'm missing stuff, like legit gets annoyed when I asked... but he talks about the babies constantly and tells me he wants to rub my tummy and talk to them
