Ladies who have pregnancy acne, what are you guys doing to keep it at bay? My skin is SO broken out all over my face, chest, and back 😫 I’m not someone who normally has acne and nothing I am trying is working 😔 I also am noticing more patchy redness on my face also! Not even makeup is doing a good job at covering it 😳 it seems to be getting worse and worse the further along I get in my pregnancy 😭

@ecsmith325, yeah, I went to a cosmetologist to get a facial and that’s what I found out.
@lulu85_18, oh wow I never even thought that the products I’m using could possibly be making it worse 😳 I do use the cetaphil moisturizer though!
I had to completely stop using my regular products because they just made my skin worse. I make a scrub from olive oil and sugar once a week and use them. All other days, I just use Cetaphil. It has no fragrance or artificial ingredients. Then, Witchhazel as a toner with a cotton ball.
@tictactori, that’s actually a great idea, my cousin is a dermatologist so I’m gonna ask her. Not even sure why I didn’t think to ask her in the first place 🤦♀️
I’d call a dermatologist. They can prescribe short-course antibiotics to clear it up (according to my dermatologist, anyway—mine was willing to work with my OB to verify everything was safe). I personally also use a clindamycin lotion twice daily, which helps some, too (the topical is perfectly safe according to the doctor).

I use clean and clear night time face wipes almost every night and clean and clear face wash when I shower
@happymommyxo, yes exactly, it’s such a blessing no matter the gender 💕 everyone keeps telling me oh you need to try one more time for that boy and I’m like nopeeee lol my husband and I only wanted 3 kids so we are happy and content with 3 girls lol 😊 I can’t wait to find out what you are having now!! My due date is July 24th. How about you??
@ecsmith325, if I have a boy then it’s great because I get to experience both genders and if it’s a girl then it’s great because I want my girl to have a sister she turned 2 at the end of Jan. We wanted 3 kids too but we’ll have to see how it goes with the two and what God has in store for us. When is your estimated due date?

I’m excited because my youngest is almost 2 so they will hopefully be besties 😍💕 my oldest is 7 and she isn’t too interested in playing with her little sister these days lol are you hoping for a boy since you already have a girl? I wanted a boy badly this time around but I knew in my heart I was meant to be a girl mom!

@ecsmith325, ok wow all girls! My first was a girl too but this one I’m only 12 1/2 weeks I don’t know the gender yet and I think I want to be surprised at birth this time around 🤷🏻♀️

I’m just curious I know they say every pregnancy is different but my first was a perfect pregnancy now this time around I have the acne on my face and chest, constipated, nauseous it’s like ughhh complete opposite
@happymommyxo, my first two pregnancies I had the glow, this time not so much 😩 I just honestly can’t wait for my skin to go back to normal! It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even want to go out in public because my skin is that bad!! The fact that my expensive foundation and concealer can’t cover it up, it’s a problem lol
I’m having the same issue, I purchased the pregnancy safe products from Belli which I like butttttt I don’t think it’s working 😩 with my first I was glowing! Lol

@ecsmith325, everyone always has something to say lol that’s awesome a house full of girls lol your poor guy is outnumbered lol! Your due date will be here before you know it! I’m due Nov 13th so I have a ways to go still but the further along I get we can start guessing gender predictions for fun lol
