Don't feel like you have to know everything at once! It comes to you with time so don't be hard on yourself if it's tough at first. Sleep as much as you can before your baby gets here and sleep when they sleep ! Take as many pictures and videos as you can because they grow in a blink of an eye!! If you plan to breastfeed I will tell you it can be hard at first but it gets easier , don't be afraid to ask for help and please know it doesn't come easy for some so cute yourself some slack and take it slowly. Just like it's new for you it's new for your baby, learn with each other. There will be time where you feel like your baby isn't getting enough milk (that's one of the #1 reasons people switch to formula right away) but they are just nurse every chance you get and your baby will get what they need especially in the first few days their tummies are so tiny all they need is the tiny bit of Colostrum that you are giving and they will be good. Read up on breastfeeding as much as possible beforehand just so you have kind of an idea. So for the bf rant but so many moms get discouraged so fast because they aren't very educated on it (some moms can't or have issues and that's completely fine too there's nothing wrong with formula feeding) if you need any help please pm me :)
I’ve never felt more right about anything except “sleep when they sleep” it is a life saver! Trust me! And if you’re breastfeeding, side lying breastfeeding saved my sanity. Also fold down the diaper so the diaper doesn’t rub against the umbilical cord stump.
