my glucose test is in the morning 😬how did yalls go? any advice?

I got very nauseous from all the sugar.

Take water with you and only drink water

Some not nasty they taste like water down soda sometimes

@lavender13, no problem girl . The taste wasn’t too bad for me but I got so nauseous I thought I was going to throw up but if you throw up I’m pretty sure you have to do it again

Failed the first one by 2 points and had to retake and everything was perfect! Make sure to follow your doc's instructions and stay calm! Knowing either way puts you ahead of the game and makes both of you safer (:

Also! Best really cold and they usually give you four minutes to drink it. Take as much of that time as you need so you are less likely to get sick, but after I did the first one I just chugged the second one. You know your body best

It varies based on your country, but in US the max number is 140 in order to pass the test (like how much glucose still in your system after you have an hour) and I got 142 on the first one which was the one hour but passed my 3 hour easily

- Girl do the lemon lime, my first pregnancy it tasted like a flat sprite, my second it didn’t taste like anything lol and no water until your hour is up! Torture I know lol I scheduled mine for 8am (soonest they’d do) that way I could eat and drink 😅

- It just depends on your doctors office I think? I failed my 1 hour by 1 point. Grrr. They gave me that one to take home, but the three hour one they didn’t.
