Hi everyone! I’m only in my early stages of pregnancy (with my third) I fully expressed with my second with just using a medal maxi swing and I expressed like 8-10 times a day for 15 months... this time around I want to use a better pump, a spectra (and try to breast feed too but j must have weird shaped nipples or something lol both my kids couldn’t latch 🤦🏻♀️) I love portability so I was looking at spectra 9 love how compact it is and easy (I like to pump when driving or when husband is driving I feel it feels in time, I’m the most relaxed so I get ALOT of milk when in the car) but would the spectra 9 hold up if I express full time? Otherwise I was looking at the S1 with the inbuilt battery but I feel like it’s so bulky... has anyone fully expressed just using be spectra cute compact 9?

I have the S2. It’s a really good pump. I do want a portable one though. Maybe the S1. They’re pricey though.

@caroluvzyou2, I’m willing to pay it I’m not fussed in price I think the s2 is $300 and the s1 is $380 I think I’ll justify the $80 I reckon.. I wanted to get the 9plus but everyone reckons it’s not as strong 🤷♂️

@kimberleybielecki, I have the S1 it's awesome. The other pumps don't have what it has.
As for breastfeeding have you tried a nipple shield? I have quite flat nipples so I use a shield. My daughter is almost 7 months and is ebf thanx to shields. Occasionally she latches without it too.

@neon.love, hi hun I tried nipple shields with my second child but she had heart surgery as a baby and her sucking reflux was terrible from being tube fed for so long so I’m hoping with the third I don’t need the breast pump full time or nipple shields but I loved expressing so I want to get a good pump that’s for sure :)
