Do kids go through phases of testing you as a parent ?!
My daughter really is DOING THE MOST!
She isn’t eating , she tests me when it come to being her mother . Giving too much attitude . Telling me to shut up . I do not know whether it’s her acting out because she is no longer the only child as of 5 weeks ago OR if it’s just a phase as being a 3 year old . Terrible twos honestly was a breeze compared to her being 3..

I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.
🤣 this is the most horrifying scary dumbest thing ever! 😬🤣 Does she wipe her ass and kiss it too? Looks like a sketchy wanted poster. Wanted/guilty for being the biggest c*nt on the face of the Earth. Puke!!! This is what nightmares are made of. If I delete, it’s that scary 🤣

Sometimes they save the terrible for age 3. My daughter did...She's still super sassy!

@curlysue, i honestly was shocked when she told me to shut up . I’m like i didnt teach her that at all ... but yes I feel like she’s super sassy at 3 . She was sweeter at two

Sometimes it’s not even about what you did or didn’t teach them kids be learning stuff on their own and not even just bad stuff good stuff too, i see it in my daughter every day!

@februarybabyx2 believe it or not, kids pick things up from everywhere! Could of overheard someone say it. My daughter used the word stupid the other day, I was upset because we dont use that word in my house. But her aunt says it all the time 🙄 hang in there ❤

@curlysue, i learned they pick things up realllyyyyy quickly . It’s so crazy .. but someone is saying it around her .. just hoping she will stop . I tell her “that’s not nice “ 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

@februarybabyx2 yeah, just correct her and explain why she can't say certain things. It might take time for her to fully understand that she shouldn't say it. But it'll eventually sink in.
