Good morning ladies need a little advice, this is my boyfriend's first child and he has family all over the US that is super excited about this news and my question is, I plan on having my baby shower in late July, when should I send out atleast like save the date or RSVP'S? We are getting an event planner to do our shower & I want to make sure I have an accurate head count to be able to book a venue big enough and also to give his relatives as well as mines time enough to request the time off from work & to make travel/hotel arrangements

I will do it towards the middle of April because you don’t want last minute preparation. I told everyone beginning of December sent my invitation the middle of January had my Shower February 18. Had a great turnout and head count.
@kiaraherbert24, that's when I plan on sending out official invitations but I need a head count to be able to book a venue to put on the invitations

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
