Hi ladies I’ve just noticed red spots on the roof of my daughters mouth? Is this thrush? If so how does the doctor usually treat it? She’s heavily teething at the mo and has a cough etc but I’m thinking if this is thrush we need to pay the doctor a visit? My son never had this so I’m not sure what you do x

@winterbaby95, thanks, I googled it and it said thrush can be red spots too, but could be strep throat like you say. I’m just waiting on doctor ringing me back now, no bloody appointments left today! But he will no doubt fit her in once he speaks to me
Thrush is white hun...I think it may be the start of hand foot and mouth, maybe even strep throat :) id get her a docs appointment hun xx
Can you get thrush on the roof I thought it was just the tongue? My daughter had a viral infection a few days ago and the infection come out on her mouth her tongue and lips had white and red spots on them there gone now @hawkie75
@chesscalouise, no I thought of foot and and mouth too. It’s just on roof of her mouth

@chesscalouise, I’m not sure hun, it could even be a virus then, god knows, I’ll soon find out, doctors is calling me back soon x
