@juliam27, it don’t matter what his plans are that needs to be damanded because it helps out so much even if you have her say in 4 hours and I have it now there’s a better chance she or he will not have problems breathing I would not mess around with it a labor scare with contractions so close together is not a joke that’s how mine happened the baby needs the shot what if you go home tonight and your water breaks ? You have no shot so her lungs aren’t matured enough to be in the real world without help luckily I had 4 shots so my baby came out and didn’t even need oxygen

@juliam27, they should have given you steroid shots immediately for the baby since ur 32 weeks and having contractions so close together u need to bring that up ASAP my daughter was born 30 and I went into labor at 29 weeks we stopped it instantly started the shots it’s one then repeated in 24 hours I got 4 of them

@kristahuff99, the nurse checked me and she’s going to check again in a couple hours they have me something for the pain right now also. It’s kinda helping but not much.

@juliam27, make sure they check again in about a hour make them let you stay and if your any more dilated don’t leave and I hated that lol the thought of someone sticking their finger in there is akward the doc that did mine I’m pretty sure was so rough he almost broke my pelvic bone 😂😂😂 and he was a high risk doc so ud think he would be gentle

@juliam27, that’s how mine were they will give u shots and try to stop labor until 34 weeks unless ur water breaks or your dilated you will go home did they check dilation

@kristahuff99, yes they are and what sucks is the monitors are picking up my contractions but I’m having some pretty bad ones

@juliam27, there’s so many things that they can’t see it’s scary if you feel something isn’t right I guarantee your right stick to your feeling and if they don’t find anything keep telling them

@kristahuff99, that’s how I was with my daughter I kept telling them something isn’t right and I’m in a bunch of pain still and nothing was working then her heart rate kept going up and up and they did an emergency c-section and found out my placenta ruptured.

@juliam27, that’s how I was and I kept telling my doctor he checked me said she’s low but you still got a while and next day my water broke and I had her at 30 weeks due to a infection in the placenta which no doctor can catch

@juliam27, alright inbox me and keep me updated that’s exactly how I was when I went into preterm labor my doc kept saying it’s normal if the hospital says your fine and you don’t think you are refuse and stay there there could be something wrong that’s causing you to go into labor early I myself had a bad bad infection that wasn’t caught it’s like your body knows when something isn’t right

@juliam27, that’s exactly how mine happened I lost my plug then about half a week later I Started getting swollen feet headaches and nausea also my back was hurting and I was having a lot of pressure and then I ended up going into labor the next day my water broke when I woke up

If you have all of those things maybe check with l&d just to make sure you aren’t in labor.

I walked around with my son feeling like he was going to fall out any second and hard painful contractions for close to 6 weeks I about lost my mind.

@kristahuff99, i lost my mucus plug last week been having contractions, pressure everyday and been super nauseous with a headache from time to time. Always have swollen feet

@juliam27, are you having contractions or lost your mucus plug back pain pressure swollen legs headaches I had that before I went into labor just because your having a c section doesn’t mean you might not be in labor

They cant do anything. I carried right in my pelvis all 9 months. The nurses were able to cradle her head when measuring my cervix around 35 weeks. They dont do anything unless you have a medical reason to have the baby or go into labor naturally.

@kristahuff99, I’m like that my legs get swollen and I’m having a ton of pressure no matter what position I’m in

@juliam27, I have a support belt I don’t use I could ship it to you I paid over 100 for it and it did miracles for me before I went into preterm labor

@mummyroo91, we looked into the support belt and my aunt used one and she said it’s not worth using it’s just a waste of money.

They can’t do anything my daughter was like that the day before I went into pre term labor and he told me it was normal but in my case it wasn’t I had lost of pressure and I couldn’t stand up for fire then a minute without my legs swelling and me crying

@iwannaplay, I’ve also been having contractions on and off now along with a ton of pressure. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable before.

There was nothing that could be done for me with my second he sat low from 30 wks until birth

I’m exactly the same. I’ve even got to the point of thinking about crutches. This is also baby number 4! I think it’s just harder on our bodies now. There really isn’t anything that can be done other than the physio or support belt unfortunately 😔 they don’t seem to help me. But maybe give them a try

@iwannaplay, this is very uncomfortable and painful I cry all the time. I feel so heavy from my waste down I have no balance. I’ve never felt like this with my others.

Actually, you can go the physio or get a support belt! That’s about it really
