I’m full term tomorrow!!!!! (According to my doctor, so don’t argue. Thanks) 💙💙💙 been a longgggg time coming
I was exactly 37 weeks when I gave birth to my first and I was told I was full term.
@juliaschade41, I didn’t think an argument broke out. I thought we were all just having a discussion about what our drs considered full term.
My doc considers 37 weeks full term as well .
@damn.it.red haha it seemed like an argument still broke out. Lmao some people shouldn't put themselves in those situations.😂
@damn.it.red, same for me. I wasn’t commenting what I said to start an argument of any kind either. 😄 just heard different things, you know?
@juliaschade41, I said in my first comment I wasn’t here to argue but I did have a question. I wasn’t going to argue with anyone but I did want to know why lol. I never knew.
@damn.it.red I got ya. Its a constant argument among other things on this app lol
@juliaschade41, agreed. I was just curious. My dr never told me anything about being full term before 39 weeks so I didn’t know.
@damn.it.red my doctor told me 39 weeks is full term. But that's just what mine said!😊 all that matters is that a baby makes it healthy without nicu in my opinion, no matter if its 37 or 40 weeks lol
@tasharoshell my Dr said the same. 37 full term that's where they were trying to get me lol lucca had other plans came at 34 and 4 so he stayed in the NICU little over 2 weeks! 😉
@laurenray93 yes diff doctors do have different opinions. I think that's the bottoms line ... You can Google info all day but ultimately, it's up to your doctor
@tasharoshell, ok that makes sense. Both the girls were induced after 39 weeks so I don’t remember any of this lol.
@damn.it.red she says at 37 weeks baby is fully formed and wouldn't have to stay in nicu for any additional time if he decided to come now.
@jessicarose0602, I can’t remember. It’s been since 2009 since I was pregnant 😂😂😂 and they didn’t even talk about inducing until I hit 39 weeks because of her birth defect lol.
@laurenray93, it’s been so long since I’ve been pregnant I can’t remember lol.
I think different doctors have different opinions on whether 37 weeks is full term or not. I've seen it both ways but my doc considers 37 full term as well @jessicarose0602 @damn.it.red
@jessicarose0602, I thought it was. That’s why I was asking what her dr said.
@damn.it.red Full term is 37-42 weeks; that's why a baby less than 37 weeks is considered preterm. I only know that because I'm at risk for a premature baby.
37 weeks is full term it's always been full term I don't understand where these women are getting different things from. Yes of course the longer your baby stays in the better in some cases but anytime after 37 weeks is perfectly fine for a baby to come
Why is 37 weeks considered full term? I thought 39 weeks was.
I’m not arguing but I do have a question.

Moms,
Due to recent concerns brought to us by other users, we would like to announce that we will be adding a new feature to the mom.life app. This new feature is currently being worked on by our developers, and the release date should be relatively soon. We have had several concerns about users screenshotting posts, and sharing those posts outside the mom.life app. We do not tolerate this type of behavior, as it is a direct violation of our community guidelines. Per the new feature, you will...
