Ok mamas so I have a dilemma.

I just called to make an ultrasound appt yesterday which is the date this was posted.

They told me I couldn’t schedule one without a medical reason to have my last ultrasound.

So they called my OB and then confirmed that I do have an appt.

But I don’t understand this message, my OB legit just told me that my daughter is measuring perfect so why would she post this? Do you think it’s a lie to get me my ultrasound?

It's weird that your doctor would need a reason to refer you to a specialist. Common ultrasound machines used can only detect up to- the most- 30% of abnormalities and all around not the most accurate depending on variable factors such as model, how old the machine is, and experience of the technician. It isn't unusual for a pregnant woman to request to see a specialist, their machines are higher-end that can detect up to 80% (big difference) of abnormalities

Well there are two different types of measurement that tell how far along you are. the gestational age which is what doctors commonly go by based on your last period, then there's the embryonic age which is the actual measure of the fetus based on conception. The gestational is always read two weeks before conception, for example when I gave birth gestationally I was 47 weeks but embryonic 45 weeks, so maybe that's what it's relating to

It could be or it could be her just checking on the baby to make sure every thing is okay. Don't worry or stress mama
