If any of you lovelies are still up I need a bit of advice. Charlie had a bump at soft play today, obvs because he’s my kid he had a bump on the hard floor not the soft play area 🙄 anyways, he’s got a bit of a bruise but not much of a lump. Just been in bed and he woke up half choking on sick- he’s only ever thrown up (other than spit up as a newborn) once in his whole life. BUT he was very clingy yesterday- so sick, head related or just coincidence and he’s coming down with something?

I would give 111 a call, it could just be a bug but just to be on the safe side be best to get some proper advice.

@ginnyw132, yeah I know, I think it is coincidence, but you can never be too sure with head injuries. I’ve kept him up since he’s been sick so I could keep an eye on him, he’s just really clingy more than anything. I’ll give them a call and see what they reckon x

@ginnyw132, more than likely. Oh I know what you mean, it’s so worrying! I worry more than I should Cos my mum has a friend, I used to play with their son when we were about 2 years old and he had a bump to the head, went to bed fine and never woke up again 😔🙏 so it scares me even more when he bangs his head Cos I always have that in my mind x

My sister had to take my niece in after a bump on the head after calling 111. If I remember right they asked if she was floppy, crying, being sick and there was a few other things. I'd just call 111. Hope he's okay sweet xx

@emilyjayne27, @mrsmowmow, thanks guys. He was sick 4-5 times but it was 7 hours after he banged his head, which is supposedly a more worrying sign. I called 111, got off the phone and there was paramedics waiting outside, she didn’t say she was sending an ambulance! Anyways they checked him over for a bit, concussion and he’s all good. So a chill day on the sofa today! Xx
