Is it wrong for me to break up with my boyfriend for sleeping on the couch 4 nights in a row? He says it’s not a big deal and he’s just tired 🙄
But it pisses me off. We should be sleeping in the same bed. And he knows it makes me mad yet he continued to do it so that’s y I’m fed up

It really depends on the dynamics of your relationship. Just like how some couples can survive without having sex. You find other ways to connect.

yikes! idk how much he’s sleeping on the couch, at a point i would get fed up too but I love him too much to leave over something sooooo small. we don’t go to sleep mad at each other so it’s not a fighting problem over here. does he not like the bed? or do y’all argue before bed or something?
Then ask him if he is happy. Ask him if he’s cheating. Let him know how you are feeling with him sleeping on the couch every night. Maybe he don’t know. We are talking about a man. They never get things right the first 50 times and many times need to be reminded

@kedrababy, he doesn’t have to have any health issues. I was just giving you an example. I used to be irritated but I can be irritated with myself bc I didn’t say anything. Be more assertive. Tell him how he’s making u feel. Your man will not want you feeling any type of way bc he’s ur man and he loves you.

I mean I wouldn’t. My husband sleeps downstairs on the couch sometimes because he works nights and gets wired sometimes. He takes the baby down so I can get sleep and then He comes up maybe around 4-5 am and sleeps with me. But if it’s an issue communicate that. It’s not much of a dealbreaker for me.
my husband used to do it all the time. he worked til 11-12 at night, play his video games or watch tv and fall asleep. if it bothers you so much why don’t you go get him to come to bed? to me that’s a stupid reason to break up.

@kedrababy, yeah some nights I’ll fall with him on the couch until a kid wakes up looking for me.
It may be for him and that’s something you should look into and work on. Marriage and relationships isn’t always going to rainbows and unicorns. But if you’re willing to throw away a relationship over not sleeping in same bed for 4 days it’s likely you’re relationship needs a lot of work.
@massmomma16, it’s definitely more than 4 days. It was just 4 days out of THIS week but he does that shit all the time. And our relationship DOES need a lot of work

In a serious note my husband hasn’t slept on our bed for over a year. Both my kids are in bed with me.
It’s not like he just decided one night to not sleep with me. He be doing this ALL the time

My husband has been sleeping on the couch for most of the past two years. 😂 But That is because our son likes to kick him or snuggle him and he can’t deal with it. At times I miss the cuddles but I do not miss his freaking snoring. 🤷🏼♀️ I think I would try to express how important it is to have him sleep in your bed first personally and wouldn’t break up if that was the only issue. But that is just me. You do what is best for you lady! 😊

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
