i feel like i need to go to the hospital n get checked for preeclampsia n high blood pressure. i’ve been nauseous n seeing some spots. feel like i may throw up and getting a bit of a headache..theyd bill me as an ER visit n i really cant afford that so idk what to do right now. and i don’t want to worry anyone but what if something is really wrong. idk if this can wait til my free usual appointment on wednesday. ugh

That's how I was when I was diagnosed with preeclampsia. My blood pressure was extremely high though. I'd call your obgyn and ask to be seen

Does this happen when you are standing? Are you drinking plenty of fluids?

@lovemyson215, the only thing i could do is go to the hospital ER right now. my usual appointment with her isn’t til wednesday

@amberspringer, yes but im not sure if they have equipment for pregnant women. i was told to go to the hospital im delivering at.

@lavender13, maybe there’s a way to make insurance cover it? If it is serious then I wouldn’t wait. But I understand about going and it not being serious. But it could also mean you need to have the baby soon also.

Preeclampsia is serious if you do have it. Does your doctor have a night nurse on call? Might wanna just go to the hospital. A bill isn't anything compared to yours and your babies life. Preeclampsia can put both of yalls life's in danger. It made my liver almost fail and I had to have my son 6 wks early..

@lavender13 the hospital can't make you pay anything out of pocket. My mom is always in the hospital for chronic migraines(but it goes on your credit)

@lovemyson215, 😔i know you’re right. im going to see if my blood pressure is up. if not i may try to just sleep it off. i have good insurance but id hate to get a big bill to be checked for nothing
