What's you guy's HONEST opinion on the child backpacks with the little leash attached? Yknow for a one year old that doesn't understand danger and likes to explore.
My son likes to walk but sometimes he will just take OFF! And me being pregnant I just can't catch up with him fast enough. Sometimes he really doesn't like the stroller, and I get scared of the risk of someone just snatching him up if I allow him to walk with me (there's been several kidnappings in my area lately)
The only thing that stops me is I don't want people to think "oh she has her child on a leash!? Wtf???"
I tried it for my son. He would just lay on the ground until I took it off 😂😂. Confine them to a stroller or cart. It's easier and less dog looking.
@shawtypop yes! Haha I swear people think I'm a Savage sometimes. Like I promise I didn't raise him in a barn his legs just take over his brain. Lmao
@shawtypop I am all for them! My daughter has a pink owl and she is getting to the point where she thinks it's funny to get away from me and run. I'm about to have this newborn and I'm fast but sometimes it scares me. I got a double stroller (sit and stand) maybe that will help eliminate the running as much. Oh, and who cares what people say anyways...trust me...if your child is safe and you're happy, that's all that truly matters. I don't judge any mom's tricks or products that make our lives just a little easier.
@cheyenneb2016, lmao I'm saying though. You should see how dumb my ass looks running after him in the store when he takes off, almost tripping over people n stuff🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I'd rather look dumb for 10 minutes using one then look like an ass when I lose my kid. If the kid at the zoo would have been wearing one that poor guerilla would have never died. 😂
Not gonna lie, I used to judge moms when I saw them have those on their kid. But I completely understand after caring for my niece for the last year(she’s a little over 2 now). She can take off so fast and when I was pregnant I was terrified to take her in public by myself because I was afraid she’d take off and I couldn’t catch her and someone would snatch her or she’d end up hurt. We were at a rest stop one day right off the interstate and my mom took her hand off of her for ONE second to open the car door and that child RAN, I was so scared she’d make it to the highway. So long story short, I no longer judge people who use leashes on their kids lol.
@mommy_x3, me too! I always looked at the moms with them like "wtf are you doing...?" But now I understand!
Tried it today for the first time and my son really actually loved it! He thought it was funny to pull on it haha.
