I feel like I am screwed for the next 18yrs with my sons father. I was told by child support that if I wanted to get child support, I couldn’t get a restraining order or order of protection against him. Ugh. Looks like they don’t care if he abused me. I was so hoping to keep him away from me and my boys but that’s not gonna happen now
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him I get a message that he doesn't have a car so I have to get my son, or he tells me i have to run him out there. I'm already having cut hours at work and getting no child support from him since he's been continuously in and out of work.
I need some help/knowledge on child support and taxes?! Her father pays child support monthly.. My daughter lives with me, I haven't filed my taxes yet. I'm planning on doing it this weekend. My ex just texted me and said - "Hey my dad is doing my taxes for me and he needs ur social security number n your full name, cause I need to claim back some of the taxes from the child support. And he said u can still claim Mia it won't affect it he already asked the tax people. So if u can send it over that be great thanks." However, when I googled it...I found out child support is outside of taxes. I FEEL like he's lying to me to try to get my social so he can claim our daughter. Anyone know?!
Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
So i am an single mom and I be so emotional after i had my baby. Like people keep telling me to put my child father on child support but his family told me they won’t nothing to do with my daughter and i just been so emotional because i feel like it’s getting hard to do everything alone but i know this assistance will help out a lot but i just know how much i gotta deal with

@brandylynn94 Talk to child support. They should never tell you that. If you are in an abusive relationship and he does not stay away or you want him away for the safety for yourself and Your children no one or nothing should tell you you cannot. God bless you love.

@brandylynn94 keep them. And as soon as you can go to the court county clerk. Ask to speak to legal Aid. And tell them about your encounter with what that lady told you. And most likely you should be able to do it.
