Ladies I need advice! My college offers on campus child care , and we qualify for it however , we also have family who can watch my son the days I am at school... I just feel like him being around other kids and in a different environment may be fun (after the fear is gone) so if you had the choice, would you leave your child at home with someone or take them to childcare for 5-6ish hours 2 days a week.. I need input! Thanks in advanced.

I would do the childcare because of the same reasons as you, if he hates it after a few times I would use family

I would be hesitant only because of the germs that's going around that's one reason why I just can't put my son's in daycare But for those reason you stated I would also want my kids to interact with others kids as well ...so mama its up to you do your pros outweigh your cons

I would take him to the daycare if you aren't going to be there all day, and he'll be close to you:) plus you can visit him! he'll be learning and getting to interact with other kids. But the downside is the germs😷

Wow thank you ladies so much. I feel like I am leaning towards daycare now. It’s just a few hours a week, and I think once he gets used to it he’ll enjoy it and it’ll be good for him. @karen233, @breederofboyz, @bperrier, @mamajes @beemommyof3, @savvysmom,

Yes if I can put my child in my college day care I would but they don't take infants because I am also not there for long even though germs are a concern but I think they will take care of the kids good

I would choose family over daycare any day but thats cuz my sisters all have kids and i see them all try and share cups all day 😆 i cant imagine the head of a daycare making sure kids don’t share cups or snacks or put toys in other kids mouths ☹️ plus people are crazy now a days. Im not very trusting of strangers treating my kids right.
