Lady's can I ask how much does your 17month olds sleep. My son always want to go to bed between 5 and 6 pm and gets up between 6 and 7 am. He does not take naps for us during the days anymore unless we are on the go and in the car. Everyone tell me he sleeps to much I need to keep him up later. But his Dr does not seen to be concerned with it. Plus if you don't put him to bed when he ask even with him knowing hitting is wrong he gets up in your face and slaps you saying no bed then runs to his room.

He sounds like he is getting plenty of sleep. Mine stop taking naps ans slept longer too. Just got a lot done at night

@beemommyof3 I just feel like no one in my family is listening to me. I tell them he don't take naps and they just make me feel like a bad mom. I know my son his happy, healthy, and loved but I don't know how to make them see he is ok. They just keep saying he will be messed up when older and in school. I am a first time mom and I just don't know what to do

I guess i dont understand what the difference would be if he took a nap from 12 to 2 and then slept from 8 to 6. 🤷 He is still sleep

@beemommyof3 I don't get the difference either but my dad goes by how my brothers raised there kids. All there kids go to be between 7 and 8 pm and are up between 6 and 7 am. My two year old nice goes to be then to and still wake up twice a night for a sippy. My son sleeps all night long as since he was 3 months old

Like 7-7 and naps from 1-3....I love nap time and I’m hoping he holds onto his nap as long as possible...my daughter stoppped napping b

As long as he has some quiet time/ down time during the day and he’s not in daycare I don’t see any problem with that! He gets a great sleep at night
