@mommy.to.sterling, well everyone is different and do things differently, so to each their own. That’s the way my mom taught me so I have always done it. And yeah it’s true we all learn something new everyday.

@beemommyof3, I can’t remember why, it was awhile ago that I stumbled across it. I believe it was saying not to wash chicken in hot water because he can cause the bacteria to multiply. So cool water was recommended and cooking it kills most of the bad stuff. Supposedly.

I rinse mine because to me it's just gross raw but there's no need to rinse it just needs an internal temp of 165° to kill any bacteria. Raw chicken is just gross anyway. Lol
