My baby boy is 3 weeks old. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday for the Flu type A. He was discharged Friday. They literally did nothing except give him Tamiflu and put an oxygen monitor on his foot. We are home now and it’s rough. He cluster feeds. He can only latch for 2-3 minutes at a time cause he’s so congested. I have been using the nose frida and saline drops on his nose. It’s absolutely heartbreaking cause he cries and it’s not like his normal cry. It’s like a help me cry. I don’t know what else to do. My heart is broken. He won’t lay in the cosleeper cause he wants to be touching me so he’s been sleeping on my chest. If I don’t pull a boob out quick enough he sucks his arm and gives himself a hickie. I’m trying so hard. On top of everything he also has a clogged tear duct so I’m putting his eye drops in. I feel like I’m torturing him. It’s breaking my heart. Pictures attached.
