So vinny usually takes a hour nap between 12-1 and goes to bed between 8-10 well anyways today he took a 30 minute nap from 1-1:30 and been up since oh lawd I know he is going to be so fussy today untill bed time... To top it off his 3 teeth are still coming in. Poor baby don't feel good.. Hopefully he can get some rest soon
Mom who does everything. So "I" make the rules.. am i wrong??? I was told today that the kids go to bed ro early. We all wake up at 6:30 am my 3 year old doesnt nap. We eat dinner between 5:30 and 6. Shower every other day and in bed between 7 and 7:30 to settle down. Bed at 8pm. Sometimes they fall asleep while settling down which is before 8. When doyour kids go to bed?
Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??
Okay so I need some advice/help? My two year old has been giving me the hardest time at nap or bed time . Takes him over an hour to go to sleep at nap time . If he even goes because after a certain time I wont let him. Or else he won’t go to bed . But then he’s literally such a monster the rest of the day. And if he naps , he won’t go to bed at bed time . I’m struggling so bad because I know naps are important for him right now . He hasn’t napped in days and has been awful. Please send advice 😭
My stepsons tantrums are getting worse he always takes a nap between 12-1 and today he just freaked out hitting the door and the walls idk what's going on with him.
Why does my child not sleep at night? He naps great during the day, but as soon as we get into bed he has his eyes wide open and has no interest in sleeping.. I'm so tired 😭

My son's teething too..again. But this time its the side ones. And boy oh boy..he ain't making it easy for me.

@anbelle ugh I'm so sorry hun and yes mines isn't either he will literally try to pull his hair out and he will fight me if I try to put Him to bed it is so hard.. With my daughter I didn't know when she was teething she would never cry for the teeth.. So this time around its a whole new experience for me.. Vinnys got one of the bottoms coming in, one on the side and a top one.. So he been crabby and fussy this whole week.. Tylenol and oragel don't work for him and now he don't want a wet clothe to chew on no more

I never had a problem with him with his 8 front teeth because I learned it from the first time when his left bottom one started. He wasn't eating solid food yet. Now is a different thing because milk isn't the only food that feeds him. So I'm still doing the same thing I always do,.popsicle and ice. It helps his teething. As of the wet clothe, try using a baby toothpaste..they seem to like it. He might engage n biting/chewing it. I did with mine.

@anbelle vinny never had a problem with his teeth either untill these 3 came in and then that's when he became more fussy and crabby.. Thanks hun I'm gonna have to try that.. I just don't like to see him in so much pain it sucks and he loves to chew on his nipple on the bottle.. I want to try to see if he would take a sippy cup he did before but now he just like to take the bottle to bite the nipple while drinking his milk

Yeah I think it's because of the tooth trying to push its way out makes the gums itchy. You can try giving him the blue sippy cap. He can still do bites with that one.

@anbelle yeah I think soo too and my son has the blue one not the Mickey but the other one but its in blue and green and he can chew on that all day so I let him.. But after he throws it and don't want it

Haha same with my son. He'd be biting/chewing it all day till he's dine with it and put it a side. Which is why I have the micky one for juices and water. So he won't go crabby on me.or anything until he's good again. But really, try making popsicles out of juices or his milk. It'll help it.
